My favorite things at Fraser's are the steaks and the alfredo. Good appetizers and a dynamite beer selection which is always changing. My son says that the burgers are the juiciest he's ever had! That said, they replaced my Blue Moon with Shock Top, a Budweiser clone that tastes like old socks. The service is generally good, and they have a two-piece acoustic group on Thursdays. The down side is that the guys play unplugged, and you can't hear them over the bar noise. The owner should put them in the back room and turn off the TV's in there, out of respect for their musicianship. I'd give five stars if the food and service was consistently great. The bar manager does a stellar job! By Fred F. on March 04, 2011 at 02:14 PM
This place was a great place to have something to get and enjoy you time spent.
Not sure why or how they can keep open.
I used to go there at least 3 times a week, but haven't in over 2 months. Because of the horrible food, and service from the last two visits there, never have we been treated so badly, never!
The place has become a huge joke! The food isn't very tasty anymore and the service, well I don't think you can even call it service!
Trust me, you don't want to waste you time or money at Fraser's Sports Cafe By Sara on August 26, 2010 at 12:29 PM
Well, the food is Great and the choices are great. Always wonderful specials, both for lunch and dinner. The place is very nice and VERY clean, whice I find makes a good atmosphere!
The owners are really nice folks, I've had the chance to talk with them to give my compilments! I'm so glad that Fraser's is here in Thief River Falls. I have found out that some nights is a good chance there is a waiting list for tables, so now I just call ahead for a reservation, still if I didn't, it's worth the wait. Frasers is hands down my favorite place to eat in town. I wake up every Saturday excited because we go to Frasers for lunch. I cant speak much of the service in the evening, but during the day its spot on. Food is very well priced for what you get. We normally pay around $25 for two meals, beers, and an appetizer. I appreciate the time they take to really make a nice culinary presentation for you. The whole dessert menu cannot be passed up. Cheers to you Frasers, the only restaurant I've ever been this happy. we love to eat. I have tosay my steak was good but I dont like feeling like I am bothering the people that work there. I am paying to eat a meal. Treat me like a person who will TIP you. I always factor in a good tip to my budget when I go out to eat. That is, unless I honestly feel like I shouldnt have gone there. Then 10 percent is what you get. My advice is get some waitresses who care about making money and dont expect it to be handed to them. By homecookn on January 26, 2010 at 07:12 PM
So I read all these reviews before I went and have to say that this is supposed to be about real people giving honest reviews. Not about fighting about menial things like crayons????? Give me a break. Some of these reviews should be removed by the moderator for abuse. Anyway, the reason I give 1 star is because I went in after doing my research and was not expecting anything either way. I can't call myself a food expert, but I have been to enough restaurants to be able to make a call. In fact, I don't cook. I depend on others to do it for me. So I go in there and the smell of the food coming out of the kitchen was amazing. I ordered a drink and it was exactly what I wanted. I ordered food. Got my soup about 1/2 an hour later. Got my meal 45 minutes later. It was cold. The waitress told me to be careful when she set it down because the plate was hot. Compared to what? I went to the bar to get my drinks because my waitress wouldn't come back. I didnt eat my meal. Good luck. By Chris on January 05, 2010 at 08:50 PM
I'm going to say once again this isn't a term paper its a review of a restaurant congratulations you were a waiter a majority of people have been a waiter/waitress at some point in their life you're pretty high and mighty about your grammatical skills thats awesome right now you probably are just pissed that I haven't used one period you may say that you aren't but we all know that you're mouthing crap under your breath about my lack of punctuation I think you dissed that other person cause they weren't up to par for you I didn't know we were being graded I'm gonna have to keep that in mind next time I review anything I suppose you love having the feeling of power seeing that you definitely have never worn the pants in any of your relationships its great that you recycled the grade school joke because I think I just used that one in my last review so once you're done writing me back you can go back to playing World of Warcraft with your pants down PERIOD By YOU NEED TO GO on December 23, 2009 at 06:55 PM
I don't need color crayons or slaves. I just want to be able to go to a restaurant and have a decent meal and good service. I was a server all through college and grad school so I not only know how to serve and what it entails but I also am capable of using the english language properly. Have you ever heard of punctuation? How about being treated like a human? There really is something to be said for an education and self respect. Do yourself a favor and go back to school. If you are an adult, you should really have a better grasp on the grammatical lessons you were taught in fourth grade. I also don't think this is too much to ask from a server. As far as the food, it isn't worth the hype it has received. You can tell when something is microwaved... By sk56701 on December 13, 2009 at 05:37 PM
Okay first, Sk56701 and Don't Go: Are you guys ever able to go out to eat? You sound as picky as a girl picking out her prom dress...Frasers is Good...I've gone many times and it has never been bad..."Don't Go"Their prime rib is smoked...and I have no Idea how you know what house fire tastes like...sk56701 the cracker joke yeah...how long did it take for you to come up with that...were you sitting in 6th grade art when you thought of it? and then wrote it down on your hand so you wouldn't forget it?
P.S This is a review about a restaurant, not a term paper..I suppose you wish you could've written your review in crayon. Remember color inside the lines...
Frasers is good, and I'd recommend the Ribeye its amazing...
Also, The people working there are human...they aren't your slaves....they aren't expected to wait on you hand in foot like your boyfriend. By YOU NEED TO GO on December 11, 2009 at 04:36 PM
