fresh design is a graphic-design studio located on the North Olympic Peninsula, in Washington State. The principal designer, Karen Marcoux Long, has more than 15 years experience in graphic arts and design. Her professional designs have graced businesses ranging from corporate Seafirst Bank to a large non-profit organization, The Society of Photo Optical Engineers International, (SPIE). Long also worked as Creative Director for the International Festivals and Events Association (IFEA), where she created colorful magazine covers and pages designed to catch the eye of busy professional event managers. In her design work, Ms. Long applies Gestalt principles and the latest technology to help her clients project a professional image. She became inspired by the intuitive graphic design theory while earning a BS in Visual Communications and Education at Western Washington University, Bellingham. fresh design's services include: • Creative consultation • Art direction • Print design and management • Digital photography • Advertising • Web site design, in partnership with Visualscope Studios for development and programming
