Galvez Manor Apartments

Apartment was not cleaned prior to move-in. We made the mistake of not conducting a formal move-in inspection and were later charged to replace items that weren't there when we moved in. Management was very disorganized and unprofessional. Notices of inspection and requests for documents were last minute. Repeated requests for repair went ignored. Despite posted office hours, management - who lived in complex was often not present. A light fixture shattered in the kitchen while we slept and we were charged for the replacement even though it was not properly installed and could have caused injuries. Broken washing machines kept coins that weren't returned even though requested. Rent payments were lost and apologies not given for accusing tenant of failing to pay. To top it off, they have not returned our security deposit and we are now preparing to file a claim against them. Exercise caution when dealing with these people. Document everything!
