My neighbor, his wife, my wife and I went to Giuseppe's for dinner. The four of us dine out once a week and always use a coupon. Giuseppe's had a coupon for $10.00 off for two dinners and two drinks. We each had this coupon.
When we presented the coupons to our waitress she said we could only use one coupon per table. This was NOT printed on the coupon. My wife and I then moved to the table across from where my neighbor's were seated.
My bill for our food was the same amount if I sat at the same table as my neighbor's. It cost the restaurant more for me to sit at a different table. They had to clean up two tables instead of one. I would have ordered a bottle of wine, but instead I drink pop and so did my wife.
The food was good, but not being able to sit with my neighbors left me not wanting to return.
There are plenty of Italian restaurants around that offer coupons where we can use two coupons at a single table. By Unhappy Guest on November 06, 2010 at 01:44 PM
