Good for the Sole Shoes and Accessories

Cute, comfortable shoes at a great price! The employees are friendly and knowledgeable in finding the right shoes for the customers needs, without being pushy. I have been delighted with each purchase I've made and have told all my friends about this jewel of a store. Thanks for making my visits such a delightful shopping experience! PS- The shop awesome!

I have shopped here since day 1 and have made many, many purchases. I been always been treated with great service (accompanied with a smile) by the owner & staff along with expert knowledge of their stock. If you love your tootsies, this is the place to shop in Columbia.

Kelly and the staff at Good for the sole are fantastic. They are so friendly, thoughtful and courteous in all aspects of their business. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Their selection is great with the best prices on sperry and dansco shoes as well as may other brands. Their commitment to quality customer service is beyond reproach and is evident the second you enter the store and get such a warm friendly greeting. Having been in the customer service industry for 26 years I can tell you this is among the best i've ever experienced! Thank you Kelly and staff for everything you do!!!

I know it's not customary to leave a review in response to someone else's but the previous review of this store and especially the owner is so far off I simply had to say something. I am the Executive Director of the Five Points Association and therefore am VERY in tune with my merchants and their dealings with customers. The owner of Good for the Sole is not only one of the nicest people I have ever met, but he also believe in peace. Knowing him for many years, he takes every opportunity to do the right thing and always chooses the high road AND his words carefully. He is respectful of customers and other businesses. It infuriates me that someone would write such things about a man I know is not capable of such action. Rational people, visit the store and decide for yourself. I am sure you will find your experience pleasant, the store owner pleasant and helpful and realize this woman is wrong in her assessment of the owner and store. Long live Good for the Sole!

1 star is strictly given for the products sold and definitely not the owner. I was literally verbally attacked by this man and he threw my debit card across the store because of a promised refund for an ordered shoe that did not fit. He used language that would have been inappropriate in a bar, much less as an owner of what I thought was a respectable business. Definitely recommend using precautions when in this shop.
