Great Curtain Co

The great Curtain Company is not so great after all, if there were a lower rating than 1 I would've used it. The owner (Lorie) is most arrogant and rude, lack of customer service doesn't even describe it. She made us feel unwelcomed and uncomfortable because we had our 4 year old son with us that we were paying 100% attention to him to make sure that he doesn't touch anything, and he didn't. When we asked for a catalogue to see an arched window dressing, she refused to claiming that there are no more styles beside the little picture on her business card! ... at that point we had to leave the store, and much to my surprise and on my way out I couldn't believe my ears when she called me "jerk"

The owner seemed to be very enthusiastic and attentive when we went in to look around. Months later she remembered us when we went back in. But then I felt rushed into ordering. Once the order was placed, we had to be proactive in checking on our order. Plus, we did not order the drapes with the hardware. ORDER AT THE SAME TIME to get a complete look! Anyway, then when everything was ready she told us it was in and we could come pick it up. WHAT? The whole point of even ordering our drapes was that we had them installed, too. We knew there would be a fee but I guess she thought we were too cheap since we ordered only once set of drapes. Which by the way, we were led by HER to a faux silk fabric. I regret it and it still is wrinkled. (You cannot steam). After everything was installed, she did not even follow up to see if we were pleased. Probably because she KNEW the answer. We would have been better off buying something out of the Restoration Catalog.

We special ordered a curtain rod from the Great Curtain Company at Mopac and William Cannon. We took the rod home and waited to open the box until the custom curtains were delivered. When we opened the rod box the rod had a broken part and we have attempted to return it and reorder another one but the owner of this company has been very rude and unwilling to help us. I have not given up on her doing the right thing and accepting the return and reordering the new rod. Beware!
