Hey guys, are you open Saturdays? I just started working at Ole Miss PD and need to get some new boots before the academy. Thanks.

Some people want to use this space to "try and make themselves feel better". I think if anonymous would talk to "the owner lady" things might be settled without having to use this sight and an excuse. "Owner lady" is very understanding and will bend over backwards to help someone but expects the same in return. I have always found this store to be very helpful. That is why they are still in business for as many years as they have been. They have grown from a small store to one of the largest law enforcement and gun store around. I would suggest anonymous go by and see her in person.

Very Nice Store

I don't understand why some people must be so mean-spirited!! I've been to this store many times and can't imagine what could have happened to cause "Anonymous" to go off like he did. That was a personal attack and this is not the place for remarks like that. Gold-N-Gun is a great store and has one of the largest selection of guns and accessories in the state of MS. They are extremely helpful and courteous. It is a shame that someone like "Anonymous" would want to flame a person's character like that. I recommend that you do not listen to his rantings and go by there and see for yourself! God bless!

owner lady is a self pitying bitter nasty old bat who's only desire in life is to try and make others' lives as pitiful as her own. shop here if you like over priced merchandise while listening to nails-on-a-chalkboard-rambling. you can't help but pity her though. would recommend wal mart or any two bit pawn shop instead.

The problem with small businesses is finding good help to be able to keep the store open for lunch. The owner is paralyzed and in a wheelchair but still works till midnight to try & keep her customers happy. I do have 2 fulltime & 1 part time employee who like to eat lunch as much as Mr Cooper does. Sometimes we are late getting back from lunch because we have people show up at 12:55 and after telling them we go to lunch at 1:00 will not leave till 2:00 "just looking around". Most of the time we do not get lunch after going to the bank & post office. You would think after driving 30+ miles twice during lunch the customer would call for "lunch" hours. We have over 2000 guns in stock and have customers drive hundreds of miles to come shop with us. I guess you can't make everyone happy. Sorry I kept you from your busy job Mr Cooper.

Poor Business Ethics

1

I've made three(3) trips to Gold-N-Gun in the past year and a half. The first time, they were closed for lunch. This was around 1:00pm. I left and didn't go back. Second trip, they were open. I found their prices a bit on the high side, but they seemed friendly. Today, May 2, 2008 took the cake. I arrived around 1:30pm. They had a sign on the door, "Closed for Lunch, back at 2:15pm". After taking care of other business, I drove back to G-N-G, arriving at 2:15pm. The sign had been changed to, "Gone to Lunch, back at 2:30pm". I waited until 2:35pm and still no sign of opening. I watched several "potential" customers drive up, and leave (including me). I even noted the FedEx delivery truck drive up and after a few minutes, leave. In my opinion, the customer should come first in a business. I find Gold-N-Guns very unprofessional, and don't understand why they are even still in business with they're POOR BUSINESS ETHICS!!
