Hair Artiste

I work in a field where appearance is important, so when my work brought me to San Diego (10+ years ago), I found myself repeating what has become a relocation ritual for me – “testing & failing” one hair stylist after another, until I find one able to give me a good haircut. I need a hair stylist with the ability to compensate for the way my hair is going to grow over the next 6-weeks or so, and factor that into the haircut. Of the many stylists I’ve tried, only a few have had the skill and/or talent, and Jonathan Dune is one of them. For excellent service, every time, Jonathan Dune gets my business and my endorsement – I hope this helps someone looking for a great haircut in San Diego. Eric K.

I have lived a long time and never was completely satisfied with the way my hair was cut until I met Jonathan. I have naturally curly hair which has it's challenges. Jonathan is a master stylist and I have been so happy ever since he started cutting my hair.

I met Jonathan in 1993 and started having my hair cut by him shortly after that time and have been going to him ever since. Jonathan has always provided consistency in his work. He listened to past difficulties I had with hair cuts and made sure that I never had those problems again. Keep up the good work, Jonathan.

Jonathan is no ordinary hair specialist. His mastery of depth and color exceeded my highest expectations. Have you had your hair highlighted and it looked like 1/2" stripes where they used bleach or had the cap put on to pull the hair through to apply the highlights? Jonathan's mastery of hair color is a true work of art. My hair is now a lighter shade of brown and has many highlights without the bleach or a 2 step process. My hair looks great and the style he cuts makes my hair feel fuller and more manageable. Thanks for showing me the difference between regular colorings and the right mix of colors to create the best color for me. Thank you Jonathan for being a true Hair Artist!
