The state of Arizona has many things that can provide a refreshing and unique vacation for just about anybody from just about anywhere. The landscape alone is enough to make for the perfect getaway as there are tall pines and high elevation in the northern part of the state and there is the heat and the beauty of the desert in the southern and western part of the state. Not to mention the Grand Canyon and the great camping and hiking that abounds. To complete it all, staying at an Arizona guest ranch will round out the experience that one is likely not to forget too soon.

When people from other countries think of the United States, they usually have two dominant assumptions that quite literally conflict each other. Some people think of New York City and the other mega metropolises that America is definitely home to. Others think of the old United States with the Wild West and all of the big open spaces. Both perceptions are in fact true and this can be witnessed in the southwestern United States. For example, on a days drive one can zip past Arizona log cabins and an ultra modern metropolitan urban area in Phoenix and both represent modern America.
