Who doesn't love ice cream? Hill Top makes some of the best ice cream in Michigan. Local produce is used when in season, this place is very GREEN. Shopping local is good for the enviroment as well as the body. Taste test the many different flavors, so creamy and smooth. Old fashion ice cream, just like my great grand parents made. Check out the flower shop, listen to the birds, and watch the fish. So many things inside this shop you have to keep coming back. The drive is worth it. But the taste of the ice cream can not be beat.

Rich, creamy ice cream made from local milk, Michigan beet sugar and local ingredient add-ins whenever possible. Better than Ben and Jerry's!...if you're ever traveling through Benzonia, do take a detour off the main drag and visit this ice cream shop. We were absolutely blown away by the decadent richness and flavor of the ice cream!

This is the real deal! I have never tasted ice cream like this before. They make it all there. It is really cute too. It is all hormone free and sweetened with michigan sugar beets. I have never tasted ice cream so creamy. I recommend this to EVERYONE!
