This anonymous nonsense should not even be allowed on the net. I know Richard Bag for years. The man is a fine upstanding individual who depended on almost a stranger to handle his business. If any wrongdoings went on, that is where you guys should be looking to.

If you had the guts to sign your beefs you might be taken seriously.

I have already beat you to the punch. I have collected my refund from the one and only Michael L. I have spoken to him on the phone. I have had an email chat with Richard "dick" bag too. I am out of the loop at this point. However, I like to "check in" now and then to see what is going on. BTW, how do you know that the Anonymous poster was Michael L.? What was your complaint with Icon?

Icon Cleaning shut down due to numerous complaints. I called many times with no response. I did call Green pro after getting estimates from Organic Air, their guy was a joke & looked like he just got out of rehab or jail, and Healthy home something... too expensive. IN RESPONSE TOTHE CRAWL SPACE INSULTATION JOB THAT WAS DONE ON 4/8/08. THE WORKMAN NO LONGER WORKS FOR THIS COMPANY AND THE JOB WAS SUPERVISED BY M. LIVORIO WHO ALSO NO LONGER WORKS FOR THIS COMPANY. iT WAS HIS RESPONSIBILTY TO MAKE SURE ALL THE WORK WAS DONE PROPERLY. The workmen were plesant, but the work was shoddy. I wanted my floors insulated. All that was done was to lay the insulation on the ground. So, essentially I know have a refridgerator underneath my floor.

My mother has had a similar problem. Back in July the came and cleaned the ducts, and offered a filter to be ordered from Air care. I have tried calling icon several times but the # is busy or the call cannont be completed. I called Air care myself and it seems that they have not submitted th order for the filter but have taken the money. They have swindled my mother out of over $329.95! We too are also putting in a complaint to suffolk county consumer affairs.

Andrea, I have taken measures to getting my money back. I had filed a complaint with Suffolk County Office of Consumer Affairs. I have a hearing scheduled for next week. I am hoping Richard Bag shows up. I want to meet him. I would take this as far as you can. Start with filing a complaint.

Icon Cleaning changed their name to Organic Air. A Valpak ad came to my mother's house for air duct cleaning with Icon's license numbers listed on it. Are they that lazy and stupid? Their new phone number is 1-888-938-5454. The lady that answers the phone is very rude and seems like they have received many nasty calls. I have contacted Suffolk County Consumer Affairs and they said Icon Cleaning is under major investigation and from my mom's bad experience and from reading the other reviews I can see why! Has anyone made any headway as to receiving refunds or resolutions to the problems?

Icon is Listed as a COMPANY TO WATCH as a Chronic Offender on the Suffolk County Office of Consumer Affairs website. They don't respond to complaints and treat customers like crap. DIck Bag is exactly that.

Can anyone confirm this new company? Who is this mystery person who posted this information? How do we know this company is a real company? I will find out tomorrow. I plan to go down to their office to check it out. Now, can anyone tell me who Barbara or Christine are? What relationship do they have to Icon Cleaning or to Richard Bag? I think it is funny how they worked in the office when they were at Icon and now they are office workers for this new company. Does anyone find that a little weird?

Icon Cleaning is now operating under the name of "Organic AIr" and their address is 22 Cain Dr., Brentwood NY 11717. This is off of the LIE north service road. Phone number is 631-617-5935. Frank Marquez, a convicted felon, Christine and Barbara are running the office for Richard Bag who is never there. Anyone looking for their money or refunds go check them out. I'm sure they will be surprised when we show up at the door.

I have two comments to make. I want to address the few people on this site that praised the hell out of Icon Cleaning for there work. How can you all praise them for their work when they screwed the hell out of people. They take people's money, and they run with it. There is more negative comments towards this company including a subcontractor being screwed too. Doesn't that say something. Wake up people! Tobey Bag, Richard Bag, and Michael LiVorio they get their kicks out of scamming people, and promising stuff but not delivering the goods.

I had our whole house in May 2008 done and bought further products, 2x Electrostatic filters and UV light purifiers and paid them upfront. I have never received any of the products a value of $1379.90. I called every month, and spoke to a Barbara and then a Christine all of which promised to get back to me. Nothing and no products!

As a sub-contractor that worked for Icon, I am owed over $2000 for work I did. I herd over 100 checks have bounced to there advertisers and other workers like me. T-Bag the owner is a piece of work. Lie after lie comes out of that mouth and nothing ever gets done. He wont deliver filters customers orddered because he never ordered them, just took the money and went to hit golf balls on another vacation. everyone that works there has a criminal record and is coached to lie by t-Bag. Screw Icon.

Attention! If you live on Long Island then this message applies to you. If you have purchased anything through this company recently and have not received the item then beware. If you did not receive the item then you won't. If this company owes you money for that item but you have not received the item nor your money back then there is a good reason for that. Have you tried to call any of the follow phone numbers: 631-789-8700, 800-427-4121, 800-804-9561, 800-804-9717 or 516-922-3900. The reason that none of the phone numbers work is they are not around any longer. I went to 44 Seabro Ave, Amityville, NY. The place is abandoned. That's right empty. On 6.5.08, they came to my house to clean my airducts. In addition to the cleaning, I got sucked in to buying a "really good filter" for $130.00. Well, here it is 9/08 and after many attempts to find out the status of the filter, I never received it. Now, I am pissed off. I have called them too many times. On 9.10.08, I have filed a complaint with BBB but even BBB are not responding to my calls either. When you call 789-8700 suddenly you get a busy signal. Come on, they are not that busy. DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THIS COMPANY! They will rip you off.

I wish I could given them no stars.In April of this year I had my air ducts cleaned out. I estimated it would be a few hundred dollars, it ended up being thousands of dollars!! They claimed I had extensive mold. Anyway, I had the work done. A few weeks later I had water damage. During the cleaning they knocked the pipe that takes the water into the gutter. I received the estimate to have the damage reapired, about $1,500. They are refusing to pay. I have been fighting with them for over 4 months. They have been giving me one excuse after another, from have it fixed and we will pay you, to the insurance company has the information, to their boss is on vacation. He has been on vacation three times in August alone!! What a life, rip people off and go on vacation!! Now they are moving to an unknown location and their phones go directly to an answering service and they are not returning my calls. I have reported this them. NEVER US ICON!

This is NOT a reliable company. I made an appointment two weeks in advance and when they didn't show up I called to find out they were not coming. And had a NASTY ATTITUDE!!! Despite reading the negative comments, I figured I would give them a second chance, DON'T!!! They are horrible, horrible, horrible company.
