Jeff's Music

Jeff and his store have Fender and other name brands for the beginner to advanced player. They have been awarded best music store 2 years in a row by the daily press.

I have gone to every store in this area and Jeff's is the most knowledgable and helpful. There are some things money can't buy and service is one of them. This store has it all!

Jeff's Music store is a privately owned store, with a wide selection. However, most of the guitars are for beginner to intermediate players. They have very few guitars for a serious player who performs, or does small gigs. The amp selection is nice, and they have some great drum sets, but guitar wise, they are not my choice. Although there are few employees, they are knowledgeable about what is in the shop. They do guitar repairs, etc., and do a nice job. I recommend them to anyone wishing to learn the guitar, or upgrade from their first one.

Product selection is minimal. The products they do carry are considerablly marked up. If you are going to purchase something from them, be 100 percent certain this is the item you want before leaving the store because they have a no refund no exchange policy. I would HIGHLY recommend makng the drive to guitar center on virginina beach blvd. They have a huge selection. They will let you try out the gear. and will match any price anywhere even online rpices from musician's friend. And if you ar enot happy with your purchase you can bring the item back and they will either refund your money or work with you in some way.. I have dealt with Jeff's music on 3 seperate occasions in 7 years. and all 3 times I left feeling like I had been taken advantage of. I would highly recommend avoiding this store at all costs. Go to guitar center, ebay, craigslist anywhere but this store. Learn from my mistakes.
