Jewelry Creations Workshop

I had been looking all over Miami for a good jewelry making class to take. I came across Jewelry Creations Workshop online while looking for a custom jewelry maker to design a ring for my fiance. Since then I have had 3 beautiful rings created for me by Steven Brownlee (the instructor) and I've taken about 3 or 4 classes so far. I absolutely love my time there. I'm learning more than I ever though in the brief time I've been there. I plan on taking classes for many years to come. I wholeheartedly recommend Jewelry Creations Workshop. You'll be hard pressed to find a better instructor or a more conducive environment for learning.

3/18/2010 I took an intensive private 2 day class with Steven in '09. I was there for about 20 hours in 2 days! He taught me everything I wanted to know and more. He is absolutely amazing. I found the workshop on the net and gave him a call. After talking with Steven on the phone, I knew that he was the type of teacher I was looking for, so I booked a flight from Cincinnati to Miami! I plan on flying back down this year for a class. Steven inspired me so much that I built a metal studio in my basement! As I was building the studio, Steven continued to give me guidance with my tool purcasing, and studio set up. He even provided a list of tools with where to go for the best pricing for each! If you are considering taking a class, take this one....he really is a fantastic teacher. He shows you the RIGHT way to do it...no shortcuts.

Steven is a great teacher. He has a very positive energy that only adds to your creative drive. I wasn't interested in making the standard polished rings or even more traditional jewelry items. He was able to adapt to what i wanted quickly and effectively, providing excellent guidance and intruction. The intimate class size also ensures that you get plenty of attention when you need it. I highly recommend Jewelry Creations Workshop to anyone looking to improve their skills or learn new ones.

Jewelry Creations Workshop is a good way to learn or improve metalsmithing skills. Steven Brownlee is a creative and talented goldsmith who also is able to teach all levels. It's a good experience

I came across with Steven's work at an art show in Miami last year. His work caught my attention instantly. The best part is that he was offering classes. I signed up right away and two weeks later I was working on my first project. The class was terrific and learning was easy. Steven was very helpful and patient at all times. I'm looking forward taking more classes soon.

I loved taking classes at the JCW, Steven is a young artist with an inmense knowlege in his field. he's very energetic , focused and skillful and the atmosphere he creates makes working at his studio a pleassure. If you are looking to get involved in a new hobby, or walk your first steps in the jewerly field,Steven and his studio are the right place for you.

Steven really understand what the student is looking for. I feel he really cares that I progress as a jewelry artist. He is very knowledgeable in the jewelry arts and is always willing to share his tricks of the trade. I highly recommend the classes offered at Jewelry Creations Workshop. Good luck

I've been taking classes at Jewelry Creations Workshop for about 2 months now and have learned so much in my time there. Steven is a hands on teacher who enjoys his craft. The classes are very small,reasonably priced and great for personal instruction. Its a very relaxed enviroment. Stevens method of teaching are great. Instead of giving you the answers,he makes you think about every detail and guides you to the answer. I highly recommend his class...........

This was a super fun and very informative workshop. I went in there knowing absolutely nothing about how to make jewelry and I came out with my very own, self-made ring! I felt very accomplished, being able to do something so difficult, something I never would have thought I'd be able to do. And Steve was a wonder! He helped me out just enough to know what I had to do, but it was my own hands that created and shaped and polished. This was a wonderful class and I would definitely like to go back someday and make more intricate pieces of jewelry.
