Koehne's Welding

M.D. "Cooter" Koehne repaired the aluminum, left-side, foot perch on my son's 2009 Kawasaki 250R Ninja. He had only put 32 miles on it when he laid it down. My son came away with brusied ankle and a brusied ego. The bike suffered minimum damage but did break the perch. Since he was only visiting for a few days, we wanted to ride while he was here and since the bike was brand new model, enough of the bikes had not been wrecked for them to carry them in stock. So having it welded was the only option. Welding aluminum is an art and takes sombody that knows what they are doing to weild it. We left the two peices with Cooter and came back an hour later. He did an excellent job welding it back together. Give Cooter a try if you need some custom welding and you too will attain exotic metal-repair enlightment...
