Completely commited to their students and their art!

    5

I have been studying Tai Chi Chuan for quite some time all over the country. I've never been to a club such as this. The instructors are so committed to their art and provide the very best education to their students. The instructors never just sit back on their laurels, they train constantly, taking seminars from Grand Master Doc-Fai Wong on a regular basis to improve their skills and learn the latest interpretations. As instructors they see that their students are challenged in a friendly way, particularly with the kids. Always full of encouragement, truly trying to teach more than just the moves but the philosophy and the respect for those that made it possible for us to be able to study martial arts. Another thing that really impresses me with L7, is that I don't just feel like I'm coming to school where I pay my money and get lessons. I feel like I'm in an association of friends where my dues are paid to support my club rather just a business or solely for profit.

    My experience

    1

I am not sure if I just caught them on an off night or this is how they run their show but my personal experience was..I was new to the school seeking out informationun and what I experienced was disorganized, young people running the classes and I do mean young. The few students that were there looked bored and I was invited down but then no one was available to answer my questions. I was asked to wait and after about 20+ mins I left. Not a good first impression and as they say sometimes you only get one.

L7 Martial Arts Will Encourage You

    5

I've been studying Choy Li Fut kung-fu for 6 yrs. This martial arts style has been beneficial for me for health and for body. L7 Martial Arts School has many positive things to offer: Instructors & owners are very kind, well studied & genuine. I feel welcome there anytime. We work on practical applications that make sense for daily self-defense. Each class I leave with a sense of accomplishment, and at the same time a sense that I have much more to work on. I always feel encouraged by Mr. Lawson that I am moving forward in my martial knowledge. I am honored to study with many talented instructors. I know that because of them I am continually learning & understanding how martial arts makes one whole. I highly recommend this school to children & adults alike. You will not be disappointed. Martial arts is not something that you see instant results from, but in dedicating yourself to the art you will see it will change your mind, body & spirit for the better, for life!

i decided to check out L7 martial arts cause ive always been into bruce lee movies and i wanted to learn real kung fu. i was more than surprised to find just that kind of school here in spanish springs. they are legit in teaching traditional practical kung fu. no dancing around here! i learned how to actually use the moves to protect myself. they got punching bags and a wooden dummy! they also got a lot of old school kung fu weapons. i am stoked that i found them, find me in the ring wataaaaaa!

You can't judge a book by its cover

    5

The internet is a very powerful tool to hide behind the spotlight and damage someone's reputation. The only blogs I have purged from this sight are pure slander. Obviously you cannot please everyone but the key is to do the best to help others when they ask for help. I do not support nor condone any gossip or slander to another person or facility. Internet blogs and reviews should be viewed in respect of the old saying "you can't judge a book by its cover". With that in mind, the true colors are within the book. Sincerely, Louis Lawson

    Self Defense Class

    5

Had the opportunity to attend a free self defense class provided for the community by L 7 Martial Arts. The facility is new, clean, bright and very friendly. I was immediately greeted and although the class had already begun, felt comfortable joining in. The head instructor, Luis Lawson was very knowledgeable, kept the participants engaged in conversation regarding self defense scenarios and provided excellent martial arts self defense techniques. Was a fun, educational class. I would highly recommend you check out L 7 Martial Arts!
