Hi Julie, Man you busted my butt last night! My heart was beating at a higher rate than I am used to. I was at the point of muscle failure. I did, however, cool down rapidly and recovered faster than I thought I would under your guidance. I want to thank you for your continual encouragement. Now If I could just remember that I am prob...ably at least 25 years older than the rest of our little group and that is okay that I can't keep up with them, I would be better off. I still have that competitive spirit that keeps pushjng me to do more. With the gains in muscle strength I am not losing weight but I am burning fat. My body is changing in fantastic ways. Hi Julie, Wednsday's workout left Clara and I tired and sore. The muscle aches have subsided somewhat but they are still there. We are looking forward to our spa session this afternoon and the workout tonight. The soreness is just a reminder not to slack off while on vacation. We just didn't do enough strength work to not be affected by the strenuous work we did last time out. The thing I appreciate most about you, Julie, is your consistancy. You work us enough to make serious physical gains but not enough to discourage or injure us. You are the best... Well Julie, vacation is over and we were back for our first workout in two weeks. Clara and I missed our workouts and were looking forward to tonight. You didn't let us down. I was hoping you would have a little mercy on this 65 year old Army Retiree and his younger wife, but wishing doesn't get you into shape. I am glad that we worked out some while we were gone, mostly crunches, push ups and squats. We also walked on 9 of our 14 days away.. You pushed us hard tonight Julie, but I would expect nothing less from you. You are a great trainer and a better friend. We are so glad to get back at it... To those of you reading this who have doubts about starting a fitness program, Julie Johnson's Young at heart/La Physique is the place to start. Hi Julie, Another week of tough workouts is over and the improvements in strength continue. I find myself looking forward to the workouts more each day. I undrerstand the need to rest the body for a full day after working out,but the desire is there. I am building on the desire for more gains quicker. The only downside is that I find a dull ache in a new part of my body the day after... lol...l know, I know that's a good thing... lol... Clara and I do appreciate the help we are getting from you. We will be taking several dumbells and your e-book with us on vacation so we can continue working out while we are visiting my son in VA later this month. I want to stress to all who read this that if you don't have an exercise plan and are wanting to get into shape you need to call Julie at La Physique/Young At Heart and get started. I promise you after the first few weeks (and it will take a few weeks) you will feel like a new person. You will look forward to each new challenge ..

Julie, Now that I have recovered I want to tell you what a great workout we had this evening. You kept my heart pumping at about 130 bpm. I am surprising myself with the gains I have made, I am also very pleased. During a lull in activities at work today I managed to fit in some pushups off the edge of my work station, squats , dips, and toe raises, 100 reps each in sets. took me about 30 minutes and I didn't break a sweat. I am loving it. Clara is looking great too, Her strength is also improving too. I don't regret for a minute the investments we have made in our future together by getting into shape. I went today for my first Cellulite Abatement sessions and lost a total of 18 3/4"!!! 12 1/4" of that was off of my upper/lower stomach area!! I would highly recommend this to anyone!! THANK YOU JULIE!!! You are AWESOME!! I can't wait for the rest of my sessions!!!
