On Nov 18th I took my son's PSP to this place. Their place of business is not far from where I live. The next day I took his PS3, also. I thought it was odd that it would take 23 business days to fix but I wanted to help out a local business in these hard economic times. After 1 month and spending almost $300 for the repairs I'm getting the runaround about when it's going to be ready to be picked up. They tell me it will be done by a certain day but they will call me first. Don't come until we call. Well they finally say it's going to be ready Fri Dec 19th and I go down there and they are closed! I'll be back every day now. Has anybody that recently posted here received there electronics back? If not please contact me. I can be reached by my name at schwans .com.

I have sent my PS3 to be fixed and after a 1 month of trying to get a hold these crooks, I filed complaints with FDC, BBB, State Attorney, Gov. Charlie Crist, IFC3, and my local authority. I will do everything in my power to shut these scum of the earth down, but if we as a group come together it would be easier to shut these scum down. I will fight this company to the end. So they will never scam another person again. I'm willing to share my information so we can fight this company together.

This company needs to be reported to the State Attorney General's office in the State of Florida. They take your equipment, charge your credit card do not make repairs or return your equipment. check for other alias's.

I too have joined the hundreds of people bamboozled by laptopready.com. They sent an DHL prepaid envelope and I sent them my PS3 in good faith. I have yet to receive the machine and I have been charged $380. They give me the run around stating that it is the motherboard that they are waiting on. DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU.

I too have been shafted by this infamous company. i sent out my ps3 for repair and they charged my card right away. 2 months later and they are "still waiting on a part". I have contacted an attorney and if its the last thing i do i will make sure they are held accountable.

I have the same sorry to tell with elaptoprepair.com. It struck me as very unusual that it should take so long to fix a laptop computer. Likely, they want all your personal information- your identity your Social Security Number, your bank account details. Think about it, you have a lot of information stored on your machine. You just box it up and send it off. They just need the time to sift through it, thats why they say it will take six weeks. Once they have all your personal details it they santize the drives and sell the computer on ebay. They can then sell your identiy to anybody willing to pay for a Social Security Number or drivers licence number. Each one of those is worth a lot more than a laptop. Soon they will cross check SSN with Names and find out what these guys have really been upto.
Do not send your machine to these people under any circumstance.

I can't figure out why these people aren't in jail yet!!! We were also ripped off. We sent 2 laptops for LCD repairs in January. Charged our card $1,000 right away. Then they disappeared. We couldn't reach them by phone most of the time, when we did, we were lied to that they were waiting for parts. Finally in June, our head of Purchasing reached them by phone and told them they would be reported to the government since the laptops belonged to the government. They sent them back right away --- super crappy repair jobs for $1,000 bucks. We reported them to the BBB and a fraudulent business agency in Orlando, but still these people are out there ripping the public off!! What will it take to get these people arrested??? What's the matter with the police???

I am glad I found all of you, I just wish I would have sooner. That company received my laptop in March, and here at the end of December they are still claiming it is an LCD that they are waiting for. It will come next week is something that I keep hearing. I got in the mail a "Loner Laptop" from them, I suspect it was just some other poor fellows computer. I paid $400 dollars to get it fixed, and they won't even let me talk to a manager, they said he isn't in right now. So if you can give me any information to help me get my computer back, ways you have been able to, it will be much appreciated. My address is DragonMaster165@aim.com . Than you.

I sent them my laptop in July and paid their $400 estimate for repairs in Augast. They don't answer e-mail, usually hang up their phone and have given phony USPS tracking numbers. Joan in Springfield, IL would you please e-mail the info you got on the owner to me : jjones9853@aol.com? Thank you.

They are total scam artists. I finally got them though! I sent my son's PSP to them with a game to test when fixed. I paid $119 for the repairs. It has been almost a year, and I finally got it back last week. I called multiple times, sent letters, emails. I finally contacted their local Florida police dept. and spoke with Detective Jammes in Longwood FL. He told me to send cert. letter saying I contacted him, which I did. Still no response. I was ready to file a criminal complaint with him. I googled the owners' names and found out he worked at a car dealership in Orlando. I got on their web page and used their contact page and typed it all out with dates, numbers, complaint info, etc. Magically, my PSP came three days later! I think I hit home.

This site shows scores of online consumer complaints. They STEAL laptops and repair fees.

They use many aliases as links to promote their fradulent enterprise. Charged credit card $500 plus and never returned computer and power supply. They do not return e-mail requests and hang up, "disconnect," on phone inquiries. Have learned through subsequent complaints that is their modus opperandi.

Absolute criminals. Paid them $500 in February and gave them a Sony Vaio worth $3000 to repair and they still have not returned the laptop as of June 22, 2007. They have also ignored the BBB of Central Florid, with which I filed a complaint.

I urge extreme caution if you even think about using these guys. Sent in my laptop for repair in Oct. 2006. Paid $350 for motherboard, $200 for HD, and $100 for extended warranty (yes, stupid move). Took 4 months to return. During those 4 months, I had ZERO response to any status inquiries. Finally received in Jan 2007. In April 2007, unit failed. I returned for warranty repair. It has been 3 months and once again, have not heard a word. No response to e-mails, letters, nothing. Telephones, when they are answered, are staffed by a person who barely speaks English and gives canned responses; "Next week," etc. THESE GUYS ARE THE WORST. DO NOT USE. I am in the process of filing complaints with the Attorneys' General in each state in which they operate. Not returning a $3,000 laptop is a felony!
