THIS IS THE SECOND LENNOX HEAT PUMP I HAVE OWNED THAT WAS THE SECOND MISTAKE I MADE. SHOULD LEARNED FROM THE FRIST ONE NOT TO HAVE BOUGHT A SECOND ONE. WAS TOLD BY THE DEALER HOW THEY BEEN UPGRADED PLUS THE SAVING IN POWER USAGES. WAS NOTHING BUT A BIG SMOKE SCREEN TO SAY IT NICELY. I HADE A GE HEAT PUMP FRIST IN MY HOME IT LAST OVER 20 YEARS.THE REASON I CHANGED IT OUT.THE COMPRESSURE WENT OUT TOLD IT COST MORE TO REPLACE IT THAN THE UNIT WAS WORTH.WAS I A SUCKER.THE TWO LENNOX DID NOT LAST THAT LONG. THIS ONE HAD THE COMPRESSURE CHANGED ONCE AND NOW SECOND COMPRESESSURE IS MESS UP. IT ARCKING OUT LIKE THE FRIST ONE WAS.
IF LENNOX IS SUPPOSE TO BE SUCH A WISE INVESTMENT. WHY SHOULD THIS PART NEED REPLACING SO SOON . NOT TO WORRIE THE COMPANY WILL REPLACE THESE FOR TEN YEARS YOU ARE NOT TOLD BY THE DEALER IS THE LABOR IS NOT COVERED. LIKE I FOUND OUT ON FRIST REPLACE PART THAT COST TO ME AROUND $1000.00. WOULDN'T RECOMMEND FOR A CHICKEN HOUSE LITTLE ON A HOME.

My unit is three years old and had to have both the fan motor as well as the capaciter replaced within a period of 5 months. The cost of the repairs was $617.00. The parts were covered under warranty. There should be a Lemon Law to deal with products such as this.

Don't use Lennox installers HS Stevenson and Sons / Stevenson Service Experts, owned by Lennox. Lied to me about everything including being the best in the industry, guarantees, obtaining permits, properly completing the job according to code. When running the furnace my entire family became sick, begged the installers to correct the problems but it wouldn't. Instead, after paying the installer over $6,000.00 to relocate my furnace approximately 10 feet it turned me into a collection agency. I complained to the local building department and the inspector found that the installer never submitted drawings to obtain a proper permit. Instead the installer lied to the building department ,after it relocated my furnace, claiming it merely replaced my furnace. The inspector found several code violations. The installer refused to comply with the building department's demands to comply and now the building department issued an adjudication order seeking huge penalties/ my home condemned.

Our church got a G71MPP series furnace but were not advised that it would take 4 gallons of water per day out of the air which would need to go down the drain. Our drain is a sump pump and freezes in cold temps, so arnie has to bucket this out. we needed to be advised of this before we purchased it, and we would have gotten one without this need.
We are a poor church and our sump pump goes out to a drainage ditch, so you should see my dilema. Any suggestions?
Big question-is there a way to get away from all this water?
Please advise me- thanks-arnie

$200 for a primary limit switch that they won't sell without an additional $200 service call. You have got to be kidding me. Your dealers are extortionists

I bought a gas air conditioner from you August of 1998. It had a ten year warranty. Last year I called Middleton heating out because I was getting no cold air from my conditioner. The service man said that the compressor was probabley on it's way out. I asked them to send it back to Lennox then as my warranty was still good.
I was told that I had to waite till it went out. I'm 69 years old and still working. But at a poverty level job.
my husband is no longer with me.
That makes your warranty useless to me. and i'll think of Lennox as I spend the rest of my summers trying to live with the heat.
This is no way to treat people
Is this the good old USA way of manufcturing and giving a useless warrant.? Daisy Sebring , Corvallis Oregon

I am at my Dads house waiting for yet another repairman to replace for the 4th time in as many years the thermocouple on his furnace. It is a PVWB-30 SERIES,BOILER#GWB8-0705,SERIAL#350200530. Presently it is 8 degrees F.The house isn't much warmer. He bought this furnace amid the hype telling all how efficient and maintenance free this unit was. This has been the biggest disappointment, and at this stage in his life,is unacceptable. The money that this has cost in service calls pales in comparison to the hours spent freezing in his own home with his BRAND NEW STATE OF THE ART FURNACE. I will give you a fair amount of time to respond. If this is not addressed in due process,I will proceed to the next order of business,of which I'm sure you will not want any part of.My father does not deserve to spend his twilight years spent in discomfort because of false promises, and second rate products.I await your response, and will hold true to my promise if this is not addressed immediately.

I have a Lennox gas furnace, model C33-36C-2F-3, Serial No. 6007D13044 which was installed in my new home in the spring of 2007. On Saturday, Dec 6, the ignitor failed. This is unacceptable performance for a unit that is supposed to provide reliable operation. In addition, the Lennox parts were not available on the weekend. The part was covered by the warrenty but it still cost me $250 for the repair service. This is also unacceptable. The labor cost was increased by the poor design of the ignitor mounting - very small hands are required to remove and install the part and one ignitor was broken when the technician attempted to install it - causing further delay. THe bottom liine is that I was without the use of my furnace from early on Dec. 6 until late on Dec.9 when the outside temperatures were in the teens and low 20's. I am very, very disappointed in the heating system at this point.
I expect a reply to this message.
