I drive from West Hartford to come to Lino's in Durham. It's really worth the trip! The people are very friendly and helpful. Mr. and Mrs. (owners) are wonderful people too! They all work hard there but have a sense of humor! Everything is delicious! The grinders, their deli meats, chicken, chopmeat and other fresh meats are yummy! Their prices are hard to beat elsewhere. I rather go to a family-owned deli rather than the big grocery stores! See you soon! A very satisfied customer.

Selection is good but employees are not helpful or friendly. I prefer to go to a store where people recognize a frequent shopper with at least a "good morning, how are you today"

well i decided to try this place again & give it another shot. Screwed up my order yet again. I cannot believe how incompetant these people are. Really sad to see what this deli has become. Thanks for ruining my lunch for the last time.

Just want to let Lino's know that sometimes it used to get a bit frustrating when there was no parking but now with the expanded parking, they have me back. I tried other markets in both Middletown and Durham and they are just immitations of what Lino's really has to offer. I love the authentic Italian cuisine they offer for catering, teh meat is always fresh and tender. If ever I have a question, they always have good suggestions on how to prepare something. I wouldn't trade them for the world. By far the best in Middlesex County.

One of the best markets around meats are fresh and grinders you can beat . Pices are fair and service is great . You can't beat a family business the always take care of you..

Lino's rates about 2 stars. Price Chopper is now coming to Middletown. Wish it was Durham.

Used to shop Linos but the new South Side Market on S. Main in Middletown is a real Italian Deli with excellent prices and quality meats and pastry. prefer their grinders too. Just my opinion

Great grinders, but fish not kept on ice and whole chickens not always fresh so I pass!

I lived in Italy for a while and learned how to make many Italian dishes, but since I have been back in the states I have been searching for a place that carries the products I needed to make the authentic foods... Lino's was the only place I could find in southern CT that had all the different items I needed. It is very authentic and everything I've had from there so far has been GREAT!

Yes, it is the best deli in Durham (in fact the only one I know other than SUBWAY).

It has great food and groceries that you can pick up - Rolls, Chips, soda, meats,etc.

I do have to mention and it is hardly a criticism. Went to get a pound of Turkey and the guy who got the turkey sneezes - nose running, grabbed the turkey without washing his hands, or wiping his nose, --- Hope it wasn't Lino himself but.... That gets docked a star IMO.

Other than that unpleasant experience...... I'd recommend it. Hopefully that doesn't happen often but it was a little un-nerving.

I brake for Lino's. live in k-town.....best chicken parm in the area. I have been going there for years. I have tried everything and the sandwiches don't get much better. Pick one up whenerver your in Durscam!!!!

I live in Killingworth and my parents live in Branford, and Lino's is the only place we buy our meats from! Their meat, seafood and deli department are always stocked with fresh food! They are pleasant and we love talking with Lino's parents too!
They take pride in their business, and truly care about their customers! If you haven't shopped at Lino's yet, you are missing out!

We travel from EastHampton Ma to Clinton Ct during the camping season,without fail we stop at linos for the weekend supply.Price Chopper?Come on folks these companys dont give a rats *%##!!!!!! about you.Mr Aparo does.Support the local bussiness thats been there for years giving nothing but great service.Ohh by the way even during the off season my wife and I make the trip to Linos for great food.Wouldnt do that for a chain store

love everything about this store, food is fresh as fresh can get, service is terrific, wouldnt go anywhere else for my deli needs, the only way this place could improve is by putting their weekly specials online so i can whats on sale before driving there, looking forward to your remodel so the parking lot is bigger, many times ive come to the store just to leave because of lack of parking space,,

Great food and service. But exactly what does this place have to do with Price Chopper? Lino's will still be here, no supermarket can compete.

-a 40,000 sq.ft specialty food store with plenty of parking is being built just down the road from Linos Market.. It will no doubt force Lino to close his doors and find another line of biz.

IT IS WORTH THE TRIP TO GO TO LINO'S ... GREAT, OVERSTUFFED SANDWICHES, GREAT MEATS AND EXCELLENT BREADS............ WHAT ELSE WOULD YOU WANT AND IT ONLY MINUTES FROM THE SHORELINE AREA TOWNS....

I found the holy grail of Italy in small town Durham. Whether it's sandwiches or fresh meats, Lino offers great quality at a fare price.
