I recently asked Marney for an Alice in Wonderland Themed cake for a good friend of mine. When i picked up the cake i was ecstatic. The cake was absolutely beautiful and colorful and also delicious as well! The detail on the cake especially the little rabbit was superb, she even managed to add a pocketwatch to his little coat! I will definitely order from Marneycakes again as well as recommending her buisness to anyone who is looking for a exceptional cake!

The cake tasting that Marney conducted was extremely personal, meaningful, and professional. She was prompt, personable, and displayed the cakes so nicely and served them as if we were at a 5 star restaurant. It felt like a celebration in and of itself! And...each one we tasted was absolutely delicious. We are excited to see - and taste - our wedding cake.

My daughter recommended Marny to us for my aunt's 92nd birthday...92, sharp as a tack and very discerning. She wanted a yellow layer cake with apricot filling. We were all pleased...even my aunt. Plus, money cant buy Marney's personal touch. She truly has a gift and we hope she can grow grow her bakery while maintaining her personal touch and quality.

Marney put so much time, effort, care and attention to making the perfect cake for our wedding. We came across Marneycakes by accident online but we could not have had a luckier find. Marney was gracious and happy to accommodate all of our tasting requests, the many different cake and filling flavors she offers are so amazing, it was difficult to choose. Marney only relies on high quality fresh and natural ingredients for her cakes, which was really important to us. she was such a pleasure to work with, nothing was too much trouble. She understood exactly what we wanted and effortlessly created the most beautiful wedding cake. Everyone commented on how delicious it tasted and as testament to this we had about 60 in attendance and the cake accommodated 80, not a slice was left! We highly recommend Marneycakes our expectations were not only exceeded, they were completely blown away!

I was lucky enough to have my very own personal birthday cake from Marneycakes this year! All I had to do was tell Marney the flavors I like and a theme and she just took all her creative skills to create the perfect cake! I am a chocolate mint lover. The combination of chocolate and mint was so perfect! Of course, all the little sea critters made the cake absolutely gorgeous. Marney is a pleasure to work with as well as just talk to :) I have dubbed her "The Cake Fairy". Thanks so much for a wonderful cake!

I was referred to Marney while planning my fiance's surprise 30th birthday weekend, I needed two cakes..I knew what I wanted on one, and was unsure about the other....Marney was BEYOND patient with me and totally came threw! She was also so mindful of my budget and always so quick to return my calls/emails! Not only were the cakes amazing to look at, they were seriously the best cakes we have tasted!! So yummmy!!! Marney also did the cake for my dad's birthday and again, the yummiest piece of cake ever! My family devoured that cake in an hour! I already have her booked for my mom's birthday cake and about to order an anniversary cake from her!

We met Marney of Marneycakes at a Bridal Show in October 2008, and haven't stopped recommending her since! Her wedding cakes are beyond delicious - especially the pomegranate-lime and the vanilla-rose. She will custom-create cakes for all occasions but her wedding cakes are just spectacular!

The cake was simply put, Perfect! We chose a canoli cream filled cake with white icing, and it looked like a work of art and tasted like a million dollars. The perfect balance of sweetness and richness gave us a delightful dessert that our family shared. Thank you marneycakes for making our special occasion even more special!

What could make our daughter's 1st birthday even sweeter? A delicious cake from Marney! I was fortunate enough to stumble upon Marney's website while seeking a baker for my daughter's 1st birthday. When I called Marney to discuss her cakes I was immediately impressed by her professionalism and prompt response. We discussed my needs - a large cake, small smush cake for my daughter, and cookies as favors. As promised, she arrived at my home at 830am on the morning of our event to deliver her fresh baked goods. They were bsolutely agorgeous and almost too pretty to eat! Alas, once we dug in we were absolutely delighted. Everything was buttery, creamy and oh so fresh without being too sugary. We couldn't have asked for anything more and will definitely be repeat customers. You are in the best hands with Marney, no need to look any further!

I had the wisdom and good fortune to order a birthday cake from Marneycakes for my Mom's 90th and hands down, it was the best birthday cake any of us ever had! And we are a highly discerning and particular 3 generational clan! Not only was it truly scrumptious and authentically flavorful, it was beautiful. I had to travel to PA with it and Marney could not have been more responsive and helpful in accommodating my needs and timing. She's a class act and her cakes are not to be missed. She has significantly raised the bar in baking and we are the lucky beneficiaries! From now on, all the special celebrations in my world will include a Marney cake!

Marney's cake for my sister's bridal shower was wonderful! Everyone was impressed by the design and knew the work that a huge amount of work had gone into designing and making it. The ingredients she uses make her cakes stand out from the rest. I will with out question use Marney Cakes in the the future and will definately recommend her to friend's as well as family for future events!

My daughter, her fiance and I were invited to taste Marney's delicious cakes last Fall, in an effort to select a combination that would create an outstanding dessert for our wedding guests. We sampled several options and as one was better than the next, it was so difficult to select one winning combination that we chose 2 different cakes to form our layers, one white, one chocolate with the most wonderful fillings and icings. Then we decided to decorate the cake with a garden of hydraengas and the result was a most beautiful, fanciful and epicurean delight! Our guests couldn't get over the homemade quality, yet truly professional cake which they were served as the night ended. Thank you Marney!

My fiance and I are getting married in more than a year. We had heard about Marney and her unbelievable cakes. She was gracious enough to meet with us so that we could sample various types of her cakes. We are both cake lovers; we tried all types. Neither one of us has ever tasted cakes so rich, moist, and flavorful as the ones Marney brought us! We thought that we had gone to cake heaven!!! We are both still so overwhelmed by her mastery of textures and flavor combinations: flavored buttercream icings; dense, delectable, and deliciously rich butter poundcakes; and creative, innovative, complementary flavor combinations. After sampling a cupcake from Marneycakes I decided to order a birthday cake for my husband. The cake turned even better than I remember the cupcakes being. I will be ordering another cake for my mother's birthday and every event I have coming up. I love knowing that the cake has all natural and no artificial ingredients. Marneycakes Inc is absolutely amazing. This is actually my second time working with Marney, once for my birthday and for my mom's 40th birthday this past weekend and she delivered on both occasions. Thank you ,Marney for bringing cake back into my life! As a vegan, I had not had a birthday cake in over ten years. I REALLY wanted a cake I could enjoy as well as my guests for my election night birthday party. In addition I wanted it to look like a voting ballot. Marney made us the MOST delicious cake I have ever had and yes it also looked just as I had envisioned. All my guests thought it was incredible as well, including my VERY particular husband.
Just last week she made me a vegan Easter cake for our family with the cutest lamb on it as I had requested . It was a big hit with my family, all non vegans.
I love that Marney really enjoys what she does and is so willing to work with the ideas I have.

My Husband and I have had a few special occasions these past few months and have asked Marney to bake us cakes. Each time, they got better and better!!!! I have had several occasions to use Marneycakes, Inc. and have not been disappointed. No matter what the flavors, all of them have been exceptional, melt in your mouth, over the top, delicious. My guests have also been delighted with the presentation, taste and quality of our made-to-order dessert. We keep slices in our freezer just because.

Marney from Marneycakes created our beautiful wedding cake. The first time we met with Marney, she was warm, welcoming, and excited to be part of our special day. Marney worked with us to come up with the perfect design- which really defined our "vineyard" themed wedding. She is so creative and has such an eye for design! Needless to say, when we finally saw the finished piece on our wedding day, we were totally taken back. It was perfect! Marney is so very talented. Our cake not only looked magnificent, but tasted just that! My favorite flavor was the carrot cake painted with Bailey's Irish Cream! I would definitely recommend Marneycakes for any special occasion. You will not be disappointed!

I have to say Marney is probably the easiest person I have worked in planning my sister's bridal shower. I told her what I wanted and she design a beautiful cake! It was a huge hit at the bridal shower and it tasted amazing! I can't thank her enough. She was so professional! I will use her for all celebrations to come. :)

Let's start with the unique set of skills and experience; it is rare to meet someone that knows what their passion in life is and Marney has found it and does it in an amazing way. So without ever tasting her cakes, I booked Marneycakes to do my sons first smoosh cake and birthday cake and asked her to surprise me with her flavors.
My son enjoyed his smoosh cake to the fullest. In fact, the cake didn't make it to his chair. The birthday cake was unique, creative and elegant. Our guests dove into a vanilla peach flavors and everyone left with a sweet smile.

I could go on and on forever. I met Marney while in the midst of planning my wedding and opening a business. We hit it off immediately and from the on I knew that whenever I or a client needed a cake I'd be turning to Marney.
I planned two surprise parties. An anniversary party for my in-laws and a birthday party for my husband. Of course I needed a cake for each and called Marney without hesitation asking her to make two surprise cakes in two weeks.
The anniversary cake was actually a replica of my in-laws original wedding cake. It was absolutely beautiful and Marney replicated the flowers and seashells on it wonderfully. With their original cake topper on top my in-laws immediately recognized the new version of their wedding cake from 35 years ago.
Two weeks later was my husband's birthday. He's a child at heart and loves his comics. I asked Marney for superhero logos on the cake. Although out of her norm, I had full confidence she'd pull it off. It was perfect!

I wanted a special cake for my son's engagmemt party, I was so glad to find Marney website she made a beautiful cake it was the hit of the party, she is a true artist and what a delicious cake they chose a black & white cake with butter cream frosting real butter cream that melts in your mouth it just made the day that more special I would recommend Marney to make any cake for a special occasion she is so accommodating and sweet I look forward to his wedding I would love marney to design there cake. A Marneycake is a food lover's dream. The cakes are beautiful and delicious. Everything is fresh and all-natural, a nice change from out-of-the-box bakery cakes. My family enjoyed a rich, moist chocolate cake with milk chocolate frosting after our Thanksgiving meal. I recommend Marneycakes to ANYONE looking for good, taste-of-home cakes.

I required a vegan wedding cake for my wedding and what Marney came up with was amazing! I had the coconut cake, and even my friend, who does not like fresh coconut, loved it! We ate it for 3 days, then went away for 2 weeks so we froze some of it and when we got back i defrosted it and when i ate it, it tasted just as good as our wedding night!! Marney was very easy to work with and quick to respond, even though we were working via email from different countries and different time zones, i would definitely deal with Marney again! yummmmm
