Once again what I do as a person and the information I share are a part of my life. Wanted to share this e-mail I recieved from someone I have never met. I really like Mr Martins videos, hes a great teacher! Just wanted to know what ranks does he hold in what styles? He seems to have a vast array of knowledge, I was just curious what his background is. I love how he is so knowledgeable in competition and self defense. Theres so much criticism that you have to be one or the other, Im so glad he shows thats not true Niel Magsombol

I had previously written a review from the first impression of this school when I first started and I'd say this school is excellent! Now attended almost 4 months, I am pleased to say that I've lost weight and find myself getting in the best shape of my life. Learning so much from the self defense classes I attend this program for modivation and confidence. Thanks Mr. Martin for all the wonderful help! Kudos

What I do as a person and instructor influences those around me. Sometimes I can get consumed in daily activities and forget this. Here is a e-mail I recieved from a previous student and it makes me feel good about what I do... "hello Marty Matins Karate center, about 5 years ago i was a student at your center and i progressed to purple belt before moving to orlando. i just wanted to thank you because all the training you gave me has been very beneficial. when moving to orlando i then continued and progress while in orlando to 2nd degree black belt. i know live in england and attend tournaments across the country. recently i gave an interview to a newspaper attending a competition, and they asked me who was an influence in my life with regards to kararte, and i said Marty Martins Kenpo Karate center because they made it fun and enjoyable, especially James Thaxton, who was my teacher. i just thought you would like to know. much regards. charlee white"

I recently had my two sons at another school in the area, they constantly played dodgeball - not what I was paying for! I tried Mr martins and I love it. He provides discipline which my boys needed, they work on fitness which my boys needed, they are learning from the other students like little Matt, I like the way Mr Martin stresses the younger students as role models, teaching them responsibility. My younger son can't wait to go to class!

My son trained with Mr Martin for several years before going to college, not only did he learn to defend himself he learned emotional control and discipline which has helped him make good decisions away at school. Money can't buy this type training - my personal thanks to the staff at Mr Martin's school.
