One of the Best Kept Secrets, we were introduced to this place by relatives many years ago,often make special trips up expressway just to enjoy their variety of dishes especially the Clams Casino done only thier way, The prices are still throwback prices from the 70"s. How they do it puzzles one. Go almost every Mother's Day for many years. PLEASE KEEP WHOEVER DOES THE MAGIC IN THE KITCHEN

We really didnt want to write a review because we dont want this place to get bombarded with customers. But we had to. They have the best food and greatest prices around. Where can you go and get dinners for $9.95 and take half of it home. IT IS GREAT!! Thanks to my sister and brother in law for sharing Merryfields with us.

This was one of the best seafood diavlo's i've had in a long time. It has clams, muscles, shrimp, scallops, and even a baby lobster tail. It came with a salad and bread all for under $20.00. The martini's were good priced too. I even took some home to my mom and she loved it so much she can't stop thinking about it and wants me to take her there for mothers day. lol. I've seen it there but never stopped in. I figured it was just another bar with bar food. I'm definitally going back! The only thing was that they don't have an extensive drink list, but it was ok. I found something to do the job. lol.

Take it from someone who's been a customer (on again off again) for 12 years, new waitresses, great food, you've gotta know why you're going. To watch the game on Saturday or Sunday the bartender's alot of fun and really knows how to tend bar, fun atmosphere for the REAL fan. Dinner, the deals are fantastic and the food is nothing short of delicious. The decor doesn't tell the real story about this place, you will be surprised by just how great the food is. And how can you have a local bar/grille without having the locals there? Hardly any 21 year olds and I like that fact, I like a bar where a respectable person over 30 can go and hang out. Love the juke box!!!!

The food is really good here, but their is little to no atmosphere. I have no beef with the help as previous folks have noted, but note that they won't go out of their way for a customer either. I have been there when they he had some local bands, but the place is really to small to fit a band wiihout the noise being overbearing. If you want to go to a place with more class, I would suggest RMac's, Grog N' Grill or Thommy G's.

I will agree that the food is great and reasonably priced but I will also have to agree that the bartenders are not real friendly and the atmosphere is lacking.I think the place would benefit from alittle redecorating!

Merryfields is the best kept secret around. The food is great and cheap. The chef Frank puts out great food. You couldn't ask for nicer bartenders and waitresses. Sunday football is great at Merryfields for a fun day out. They have beer and food specials. Also plenty of big screen t.v's to watch your favorite game. If ya go there once you'll be back again. I have been going to merryfields for years and have never been disapointed.

I have to agree with the last posting. Great food! Great prices! Mean waitresess! Boring bartenders! Bathroom is filthy. Dark and depressing seating area! Never enough parking! Frequented by lots of local drunks and degenerates. There is nothing merry about Merryfields! You would be better off staying at home and drinking yourself to sleep!

Great food & great prices! However, the waitresses are nasty and Jim behind the bar is not particulrly nice either. The juke box has a great selecction of songss, but Jim will turn them off in second if he hears one fhe does not like. Overall, the place is not worth the agravationof being insulted while you eat and drink. Also a staple for local alcoholics.

Whether you like sports,conversation,or great food you don't have to go any further than Merryfields. If you go once you will be back again.
