Mishon Mishon Natural Hair Gallery

Well I needed an appointment asap one day and was at the wash bowl in less that 15 minutes. I got my hair washed, deeply conditioned, steamed and braided and I tell you I was looking cute. Cuz my hair is natural with those extra tight curls. I love Mishon because she doesn't make you feel uncomfortable like some other salons. I have walked into salons where there specialties are weaves and perms and I trust me I don't drink from the fountain of hate but it hurts when you go into the salons of your people and they look at you crazy cuz you choose to rock what is natural. I think its nuts when people do that its like really... anyway I didn't mean to stay on that for too long. I say to the comment above to give Mishon another shot, Maybe it wasn't a good day for her. All of us have them.

I made an appointment with Mishon, who now operates out of her home, based on the recommendation of a friend. When I booked the appointment, I was not informed of her cancellation policy, which includes a $50 fee. Twenty minutes before my appointment, I cancelled because of a schedule conflict and paid the fee, even though I wasn't informed of it. I then rearranged my day and called back within 15 minutes, in hopes that I could be seen. I was told that my spot had been given to another customer. I asked if my $50 could be applied to my services, since I attempted to reschedule the same day. She replied "only if I was seen that day." Mishon instructed me to call her back, which I did three times. Each time, she said "call me back later." Finally, she said quote "It's not going to happen," and suggested I make another appointment. The whole interaction left a bad taste in my mouth. I understand she wasn't legally obligated to give me a credit after I missed my appointmen
