Okay, the first time we went to the Mukilteo Lodge it was their second evening open. It was my wife's birthday and we had a wonderful time. After that I read some of the reviews and felt that whoever wrote the bad ones just did not give the place a chance so I did one. I gave them top billing, was I too easy? Read on. We visited there again the evening of March 13th. As before the place was packed. There were people waiting for a table but the hostess approached us right away and offered a table in the bar. It was a great spot. The noise level was just right for people watching and enjoyment of a fun place and it was easy for us to have a conversation with each other. We were waited on right away, drinks came in a proper amount of time as did the food. The food was great, service was great, no complaints at all. The manager came by, introduced himself and asked it everything was okay. We even ran into some friends from Everett. It was just an enjoyable evening all around. Great job! All its missing is a view of the water...But if you're watching a game who cares?! Great friendly staff and great food. Only problem is that its so popular they might run out of things. One of the few places north of Seattle with rare beers on draft(35 last count) Also if the ferry traffic is bad(which is often the case:with only one lane available sometimes) Its a "must-stop" for a snack & a beer... I have had German "spaten " , Oysters, beef sliders which beat many other local restaurants by far. Also they have fresh homemade potato chips-YUM! By muklady on March 08, 2010 at 03:52 PM
First....it's a Sports Bar not a Chucky Cheese so expect to smell alcohol. If you don't like Sports or Alcohol don't frequent the place.
The staff was very attentive even telling us not to order something on the menu because it wasn't that good...yet! They have a few kinks to work out but I think it will be around Mukilteo for a long time. The atmosphere was great, especially when Canada beat the USA in hockey. What a good vibe......it doesn't have the character of the pub by the ferry...but it's no dump either. Reminds me of the Yardhouse chain from California. By Kman on March 05, 2010 at 03:54 PM
This place is just what Mukilteo-Everett area needs - very classy with great staff, food and really cozy atmosphere! Love the big screens for watching all the games. Will be back soon! By Susan on February 22, 2010 at 10:54 AM
We loved the Lodge!!! We had our family at the grand opening Friday and the US vs Canada Hockey game Sunday. The ambience was straight out of an Aspen Colorado ski lodge. The wait staff were all so friendly and calm during what was the busiest grand opening I have ever seen. It was great to see all the families enjoying the hockey game on all the big TV's they had, cheering on the US to Victory!!! The food was great, My burger tasted like a steak, and the calamari was by far the best I have ever had. I read the negative reviews and think there may be a very mean person out there saying things about a great group of Mukilteo Lodge folks that is not true. I saw the Mayor of Mukilteo enjoying the opening along with people from there mid 20's to late 80's. I had heard that many of the people displaced from the devastating Emorys fire now work at the Mukilteo Lodge. You should come in and see for yourself, one of the nicest restaurants I have been to. Love the local sports support.. By Bryan on February 22, 2010 at 12:00 AM
As I walked into the new mukilteo lodge sports grille I was impressed by the theme but nothing else. The whole establishment reeked of liquor. I waited around for someone to seat me but the employees seemed to be lounging around and not actually working. None of them seemed to be taking their job seriously or even care about the customers. I decided to leave because no one was seating me or even acknowledging me and the entire place was filled with obnoxious, rude boozers. As I was walking out the door I encountered a drunk that was so inconsiderate and intrusive. I'm not sure if I want to give this place another chance. I have never been so disappointed with a restaurant before. By Unsatisfied on February 20, 2010 at 01:47 AM
I arrived and not only was there no one waiting to seat my party, as I entered the restaurant there were drunk people harassing my party. As we waited for about 10 minutes to be seated we finally gave up and left. We noticed all of the employees of this wonderful establishment sitting around doing nothing at the bar. When exiting, we were confronted by another drunk person who started screaming in my face because apparently I walked past him without saying "Excuse me." Even though I did. None the less, this was the worst restaurant experience I've ever had and I don't think I will ever give this awful establishment a chance. By HonestCarlos on February 20, 2010 at 01:40 AM
