    Great Local Place

    4

Don't know what the rest of these reviews are talking about but mulberry's is a great local place. i live in the area and there is nothing around here that actually comes close to this place. Great crowd, food and people. the owner i think owns the salon next door and did a great job with the place. definitely would go back soon

    Sleezy Crowd

    1

Just had to write a quick note about the sleezy, trashy crowd that was at the bar last time I went. I think they might have all had the same father, as they 90% of them looked like Slueth from the Goonies. On top of that they were very rude. Management/Owners should really look into taking care of this problem if they wish to have a successful bar/grille where anyone can come to have a good time. Take it from me, or if you dare, try for yourself, but you will see what I am talking about. Find a place with a higher class of people. Come to think of it, they remind me of a deformed class of people that work cleaning up nuclear waste! Note to Owners: Rid your bar of your AH patrons, and maybe have a bouncer to regulate them. Then maybe you will have more people come and spend more $

    Sorry I wasted my time!

For being right under Route 80, the outside of this bar/grille looks nice. When you step inside that whole idea of "nice" goes right back out the door. The service was slow, crowd of people were rude. Seemed like more of a secret club, than an open and friendly bar atmosphere. They did have Sam Adams on tap which made me sort of happy. As for the total experience, I was poor. I would def. not recommend you to frequent this bar. Try the thirsty toad in hackensack.

    Bar Staff

    1

I met a few friends here on their "martini nite". The Female bartender they have is a moron. I took forever to get a drink, although the male customers had no problem. She needed to taste every martini she made and would make it a point to say "perfect" after everyone. I'm sorry but I have been a bartender for a long time. I do not need to taste any drink I make, as I have confidence in myself. Obviously, she does not. She also made it a point to say she worked everywhere and knew every place. We actually started to make up places with the men that she was flirting with just to make her look like more of a moron then she was. My point being you have to provide your own entertainment. maybe my standards are a little high working in this business, but you tend to notice these little things.........clearly the rest of the staff feels the same way as they were laughing behind her back. Next time I will try the food as that staff seemed more my type
