These people have no humanity
I recently had about $5000 worth of electronics stolen and whereas other pawn shops in the area are willing to look out for my items, these guys cursed me out of the store because they don't want to deal with stolen merch. Or more realistically they don't want to know that they are dealing with stolen merch.
