New Orleans Steak House

I attended a dinner with some friends back in 08 and was impressed with the food. We ate and drank all night long. What a blast. And the band... OMG I have never heard a band like this in my life. They are called The Jersey Shades. What a great mix of oldies and the new. The vocals on some of the members "blew me away". And the harmonies...... WOW. When was the last time you heard "Cara Mia" done live???. You got to check them out. Its worth the trip. Just look them up online, and go have a good time. I cant wait till they return.

HOUSE JAMBALAYA IS EXCELLENT ! A MIX OF CHICKEN, SAUSAGE, SHRIMPS & SCALLOPS. HUGE PLATE ! WORTH THE MONEY. CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK. RESTAURANT WAS SLIGHTLY CHILLY, MANAGER HAS TO TURN UP THE THERMOSTAT A LITTLE. OTHERWISE, WE HAD A GREAT DINNER. EXCELLENT SERVICE ALSO.

I recently visited the restaurant and was pleased that the establishment is under new managemnet and has a new executive chef, overall the new menu is much more better , it was overdue. I tried the appetizer bbq shrimp and had never tried anything so good with nice southern flavor. The dishes seem to be more authenthic cajin food, although some faces are new like an entire managemnent team, which are all friendly walking around making sure everything was enjoyable....... and the service recieved was on point, the waiter was very friendly and knew the menu and definately had me sold on my dish........... If ur in the mood for something southern and can't afford a trip to New orleans visit the new orleans steakhouse in woodbridge, prices are affordable with a nice atmosphere.

The old menu is gone as is the old Manager. The new menu is real Cajun with the trimmings prepared by a chef who has been cooking cajun for 20 years. The sauces were right out of New Orleans and the service was top notch. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. If you want great New Orleans stlye food this is the place to go.

No stars!! We arrived at 6:30 pm on a Saturday in May '08 and everyone in the staff started looking at us funny like we were from another planet.. We asked to see menus (party of 10) and the "waiter" got upset and sweaty. 10 minutes later we get our menus and the sweaty waiter says excitedly "WE'RE CLOSING IN AN HOUR!". Then the sweaty waiter procedes somehow to run around the restaurant for 25 minutes doing basically nothing except for bringing condiments to the only other two tables with customers in the place and yaking on his cell phone (real professional, huh?) .Horrible dining experience!

I was here on December 14th I heard this band called the Be Bops.....the band was terrific.....we had a great time...I had the steak....the food in this place is very good and priced right.

Love the place!! Best steaks in town. They now have great entertainment on the weekends. Great group - the BeBops performed there last weekend and will be there again on 12/14. Great music. Has an A+ in my book.
