New York Movers Movers

I used Remarkable Movers to move from the West Village to the Upper East Side. New York Movers Movers packed my entire apartment the day before the move, and I didn't have to lift a finger. I bought the moving materials (boxes, etc) straight from New York Movers Movers , and they were cheaper than the boxes at Staples and Mailboxes Etc. The movers were super nice and treated my things with extreme care. All our wedding gifts and china were packed perfectly, and not a single item got chipped, scratched or dented. The movers were on time and courteous, and they didn't bat an eye when the doormen at my old bldg gave them a hard time about the times they could use the service elevator and where they could park. I've moved within NYC twice before. One company was so expensive-- total rip-off, and the other destroyed so many of my things. This was such a perfect moving experience that I had to write a review. I never do this. Use New York Movers Movers . You won't be sorry!!

We had a great experience with New York Movers Movers ! We had an "internal" move -- we called New York Movers Movers to pack and move furniture and personal items within our house in anticipation of work being done in one area. New York Movers Movers came on short notice and saved the day. The sales staff was courteous and professional, as were the movers themselves. They did an excellent job of packing carefully and quickly, and grasping exactly what needed to be done (which was complicated due to the nature of our move). We have moved with many companies before, but New York Movers Movers was the BEST!!! We'll stick with them, and certainly will recommend them to all of our friends.

I move a lot, and I have had awful experiences with both local and nationally recognized companies, who often charge thousands of dollars in frivolous surcharges and make threats when you don't pay them in cash on the spot. It's a dirty business, full of crooks. That's when I reached out to New York Movers Movers.

My girlfriend was moving into Brooklyn from the Upper West Side and we had to do it last min, we called New York Movers Movers , spoke with Jon. He was easy to deal with, explained how the day would transpire, gave me a through estimate, and explained payment options, made it very easy for us. The guys showed up on time, Mario, the supervisor, was friendly and informative, and the crew were friendly and respectful. The did an outstanding job wrapping and caring for my g-friends items, no drama or surprises, which in the world of moving is a shock. The estimate was right on, cost were what Jon said I should expect, they were great with my building, no problems...next move it will be with New York Movers Movers.....

New York Movers Movers were great for me. They were clear about all that needed to be done on my part and what they would do on theirs. I liked that the estimate, pricing and explanation and most importantly, the move was quickly done. I particulary liked how thorough Jon was. I would recommend MM - they eliminate the worry and stress of moving.

I recently used these movers (for the 2nd time, actually) and they were once again, Wonderful! They were on time (early, even) and were polite, quick, careful and had excellent attitudes (especially for 9:00am on Sunday morning). Setting up the moving date/times and other details was also an extremely easy going and pleasant experience. They were reasonably priced and efficient. I will be using the company again soon for more moving out of storage. Excellent!

I would like to commend your crew for the local move they did for me Friday morning. The crew chief displayed the utmost professionalism, from his reservation confirmation calls to his management and oversight in loading the truck and positioning the furniture and boxes during delivery. The crew was also friendly, courteous and helpful.

These guys were great. Everything was done neatly and quickly and with a lot of care. I had a sofa that almost did not fit through the stairway of my new place, but they didn't give up until they figured out a way to get it in - that required taking off the leg and rebuilding the sofa. The bonus is that the team is friendly and fun

What better testimony than the fact that I keep coming back. They are efficient and very considerate of the fact that you are getting charged by the hour. They are very careful with all of your stuff (and your walls and floors). Almost nothing has gone wrong with any of the moves, but things are bound to go wrong once in a while. That was even more impressive. There was a small problem with my roommate's television that we did not discover until weeks after the move, but we were pretty sure it happened during the move. When I called them up, they remembered me, arranged a time to pick up the television (as soon as the same day). After they picked it up, they returned it within a couple of hours fully repaired! Have you ever heard of such a thing from a moving company?

We've moved 9 times in 7 years, including one international move and we'd rate these guys as high as the national movers, if not more. They were extremely careful with our belongings, had the right balance of doing things quickly vs. doing it right, and were also mindful of the surroundings (e.g. not dinging walls, keeping carpets/floors clean, etc). And the bill came out to be less than we anticipated because they didn't charge outrage prices for supplies. They even let us use their wardrobes free of charge!
