I had a deck installed in 2008 - quality of installation good, materials good. For the price I had to pay "they say they are the best", it should be good. Warranty is 20 - 30 years BUT There's a catch. First, it is already over two months (still pending) since I initiated a service request. After numerous calls, they finally took the picture of the rail (yes, chipped, cracked rail) -Then, I had to make more calls. Fianlly, they tell me it's not covered because it looks as if something fell on it (bottom rail) - - we're talking maybe 3 inch crack in a six foot rail on th steps. Warranty is only for defect in materials. So, two month waiting, numerous calls and excuses to get an answer that is "No" based on a picture thy took. I would not recommend NY Sash to anyone, and if you do have them do your work, don't expect them to respond to your service request or fix your problem

i bought siding from them and when it started falling off and cracking i kept calling and kept getting the round around...i'm still waiting for them to call me back.....maybe someday i will get them to do domething...
