Oak Grove Motor Lodge

Our stay at Oak Grove was delightful! The cabins are so charming and cozy. The kitchen is stocked for light cooking, and I loved the country apron sink! Debbie, the owner, was so friendly and helpful. She even took the time to open the windows of our cabin each evening before we returned to let in the cool evening air. We were very impressed with how clean the cabins and the grounds were. We were in cabin #2, which is close enough to the road to hear some of the trucks go by. It wasn't a big problem but next time we will probably ask to stay in one of the units a little farther off the road...and we will be back! In fact, we are planning a family reunion soon. This is a perfect place for that with the outdoor BBQ and fire pit. Very comfortable and enjoyable. A wonderful find and a terrific value. Thanks Debbie!

I want to thank Debbie for taking the time to show me the room (Cabin 6) and even after i told her about my previous experience with spiders (in another hotel), she made me feel comfortable and ensured that that they sprayed and everything should be ok. The place was relaxing and quite. The outside guest area also was wonderful. Thanks again!

We stayed their in December, cottage #5 which has two sleeping areas, kit and bath. Pet friendly and management was professional and very helpful about sites to see Grounds are maintained, the unit we stayed in was very clean, nice with old charm, comfortable. Kitchen had all the amenities. For an outdoor kinda a person, lots of fishing either stream and or Lake Almanor, hiking and the center of this small old mining / timber town has a few good resturants and full size grocery, shopping store.

Hats off to you both Debbie and Mike. Pat and I totally enjoyed our visit and will be coming back before the end of the year. So relaxing and kick back after a long ride on our motorcycle cruizer. Thanks Mike for lighting the fire pit and visiting with us. Your outside guest area also was wonderful. Will be telling our friends and hope some of them come with us on our next visit.
