I love my mom
got my mom some of the best jam just because I love her. and pam helped me pick out the ones that her great grandmother gaave her the recipe for. lots of love from a place full of love and tradition.
Such a deal!
I've been to Pam's Place lots of times...usually to buy a sculptured log or two. (Mom likes that kind of stuff, and mom's can be difficult to buy gifts for). I first came across Pam at the San Diego county Fair...and remembered the carved logs. Descanso's a decent tri...p from Los Angeles, but it was worth the trip. Bottom line? I drive the 120 miles to get the bears, and Pam, (et al) sweet talks me into all kinds of other stuff. (food) "Here, try this", and it's so darned tasty that I leave with just enough money for gas to get home and a meal. (Not really THAT much is spent, but everything is so darned good I DO spend more than I intend...and don't regret it at all.) Her apples are real local, and folks drive the extra twenty mile to Julian to get canned apple pie that isn't made from Julian apples. Pam and the rest are the real deal...do yourself a favour and stop in to Pam's. Bring lot's of money, because you're gonna WANT to spend it.

As an employee of Pam I just want to say how sweet and infomative Pam is and how rude Deb was. We will not miss Deb and her desecrating our beautiful mountains by stealing food from local farmers.
