I have been in this business twice, both times they didn't care to give me the time of day, let alone help me.

I took my daughter elsewhere. If I have to spend that kind of money on a dress, they gotta be nice to me as they take my cash.

My daughter and I drove 6 hours to visit the store. We printed out the dresses we wanted to try from the website, but staff would not help us at all in finding them. They brought us dresses that were nothing like the ones we had pictures of. Their stock was picked over with hanging threads and missing beads, but their prices were through the roof. We should have saved ourselves the 12 hour round trip and shopped local. The reviews that have good thing to say about Peaches are clearly lying - they are probably managers/employees of the store trying to offset the huge number of negative reviews. Don't waste your time here unless you like being treated like dirt.

It's my daughter's first homecoming and we heard of Peaches. However, what we did hear was that they have a no-try on policy for sale or clearance dresses. So, I called thinking that can't be true. Sure enough, it was. I asked why and the woman told me they didn't have the manpower to let all the girls try on dresses. Just the ones paying full price. So, then I asked her, "let's say the store is completely empty and the dressing rooms are available. Then can she try it on?" Same response. No, it's our store policy. I laughed and told her I wouldn't be coming to their store. Then she hung up on me. Besides, most if not all, of these dresses are made in China anyway. If I'm going to buy something made in another country, I'll buy it online. I won't go to Peaches, where they mark up the prices at least x4, if not more. Don't waste your time even considering them and especially your hard earned money!

My daughter was not allowed to try on her sale dress purchased last summer at Peaches in their own store.
She had to order a back lace for her prom dress and we wanted to bring the dress in to try it on with the lace when it arrived at the store. We were flatly refused and told that it was store policy that only dresses purchased at full price could be tried on, that the girls spending more money on their dresses should have use of the fitting rooms. When I asked the manager Jeff if she could try it on so one of the employees could show me how to lace her in, I was flatly refused. I would never recommend this store to anyone. Apparently, they don't need new business since they can afford to treat customers so callously.

As the mother of three girls, I have been to Peaches many times for Prom and Homecoming dresses. Each time I have been there I have witnessed the staff being rude to someone. The last straw was when my daughter was told she was taking too long to decide on which $500 dress she wanted. Although they have a large selection of dresses, the store is outdated and dirty. I would recommend ordering the same dress on-line and saving 30-40%. I have spent over $2000 at Peaches in the past but will NOT give them one more penny! I would not recommend this store to anyone.

Our daughter was put in tears in this store. All employees were extemely rude. They may have a large inventory of dresses, but the horror of dealing with the badgering, belittling, idiotic employees is NOT worth it. We highly suggest not giving these rude people one penny of your money.

Ok, so I was excited about getting a dress from PEACHES. Since everyone was talking about how great it was...This place is not convinient at all, its a total waste of time. It is dirty & unorganized, their dressed look cheap & they are expensive. They have really bad service, everyone looks like they have an attitude & they don't even ask you if you need help...& if their "numbers" run out for their fitting rooms you CAN'T TRY ON YOUR DRESS. I think it is the stupidest place ever.

I thought my daughter was crazy for wanting to go all the way to Chicago for her pageant dresses, since we live in Iowa. But once we experienced it, it was well worth the 4 hour drive. They were very helpful in trying to find my daughter the perfect dresses and she ended up looking gorgeous in both of them! I have never seen a selection of dresses as extensive as this boutique. We were able to make a trip out of it and see Chicago for the weekend too which worked out very well as they were able to get her alterations done for us by the time that we had to leave. From start to finish this store had excellent customer service!

I haven't had the chance to write a review..but i just started my prom shopping(i know early). Last year i went to "peaches" because they do a ton of advertising. i drove an hr and half from Rockford, IL.. and when i got there, i had to wait and was told only to grab 3 dresses! then i got yelled at for not being able to decide what i wanted to wear for prom! they told me to get dressed and said they had nothing for me! I only tried on five dresses!!! I should have went to Don Galani in belvidere, Il..they give great service and are wayyyyy cheper than peaches!! so don't waste your time! go to Don Galani in Rockford,IL(New store)!!! I bought every dress from Don Galani.. and will do this year for my senior prom!! Girls don't waste your time the hype is bigger than what it is!

The moment my daughter and I walked in the store we were being watched. As we walked thru the store someone was either behind us or watched from afar. I have never experienced such a treatment as a customer. The price tags are triple and not worth my busines! For what they charge you can buy three dresses elsewhere.

I read reviews on this site and was not sure what to expect. We went to Peaches today and I cannot thank the staff there enough. They were friendly, helpful and made my daughters homecoming dress purchase a breeze. Her personal shopper made sure that she had the perfect dress. I spoke with the owner before we left and she was just as pleasant, Don't let these reviews scare you! Thanks Peaches!

Prom night was sheer disappointment! After spending a small fortune on a dress, twenty minutes after my daughter was dressed and ready to go - she started turning royal blue from the sequins on the dress! Within an hour of getting dressed, the royal blue sequins had turned silver! After speaking to a representative at Peaches - their only questions was whether I took pictures of her blue on prom night! They swore that this had never happened before - but my daughter found another girl at her high school who had the same experience with the same dress in another color! Stay away from this place. They sell cheaply made dresses at sky high prices!

PEACHES BOUTIQUE HAS AN AWESOME SELECTION OF DRESSES. NOT ONLY THAT, BUT THE GIRLS ARE VERY HELPFUL AND PATIENT. I THINK THEY WORK REALLY HARD TO HELP US OUT WITH OUR DREAM DRESS. I HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE AND WOULD RECOMMEND GIRLS TO GO THERE. THANKS PEACHES! =)

I do many pagenats and every time i have a pagent to do i know exactly where to go..PEACHES .!!!.... not only that they have many dresses for different occasions..... like for QUINCEñERAS.. PROM.. PAGEANTS.. what ever you need PEACHES BOUTIQUE IS THE PLACE.!!

The store has a large selection. Here is what I learned as a result of three visits and helping my sis get the perfect dress. Get there early. You get a number as there are more girls than fitting rooms (prom season). pick 3 dress' from the floor to help give the girl an idea of what you want - color, style, fit. Then they bring more from the back. Yes my sis was not happy she had to come out and display her fitting infront of everyone but that is how she found her dress. She saw a dress 3 rooms down and asked her girl to bring it from the back in her size. (since that girl didn't go to her school) It was like $350 or something but it looked awesome.

Why was there no "O" star rating.. that's all they deserve... They should close this business down. This review box only allows 1000 characters for the complaint... Twice now it was rejected because of too many words.. Sorry but I cannot write a proper review on this place in less than 1000 words..that's how many complaints I have about it... So just take my word for it... it was horrible.... and I will tell everyone from here to kingdom come.. stay very far away from this over hyped, over priced prom dress shop. I think they have their own staff spreading rumors of false satisfaction..I haven't heard anything good yet from a "real" client.

I visited Peaches with my daughter to purchase a dress for her prom. My daughter described the style of dress she was interested in and stated our price range and the sales clerk began pulling dresses from their backroom. Initially, the service was excellent but after about 30 min., the sales clerk became frustrated that my daughter had not decided yet (their web site actually says to expect to be there approximately 3 hours from start to finish) so please get dressed so somebody else can have this room " Furious, I went to the manager to complain. I was told that because of our "limited price range ($400.00) they were unable to help us further." I was shocked by their disrespect and left. Also, they actually hand out free shirts with a purchase that shows a girls on they front saying "if my dress isn't from Peaches, then I'm not going to the prom! What a horrible message they are sending to our young girls!

II had my 2 daughters, Logan & Chanel with me and they were trying on gowns for a fashion show. We were so excited with the experience that we bought 2 gowns and matching accessories. It gets very crowded but the people working there are very organized. With 10 dressing rooms and Peaches staff waiting on your every whim. Arrive early to get a number, and pick out at least 3 dresses in order to be placed in one of the 10 dressing rooms. There are 10,000 dresses to choose from. 5,000 dresses are stored in back of the store. The dresses come in various colors, styles and are out on the floor "rounders" hanging for guests to peruse/select to try on with more dresses being brought out as “rounders” empty. You actually get to see the girls come out of the dressing rooms as though they are modeling - they look truly beautiful in all of the different styled gowns, dresses, and the colors - OH and the COLORS are just gorgeous! I really enjoyed my visit AND will be back...
