Pet Palace

I worked for the Pet Place for several years and have first hand knowledge of abuse of the animals being sold there and the animals that were either groomed or boarded there. One day, Brenda (the owner) was grooming an older cat. The animal was not cooperating with her. She was very viscous with the poor animal. Jerking it about and being very violent with the animal...it subcumbed and died. She killed it by choking it to death. I regret that I did not report it to the propper authorities and have had to live with this for several years now. Please ...if you love your pet, DO NOT BRING THEM TO THE PET PALACE.

Pet Palace was contracted for pick up and delivery dog grooming service. We were given a time for pick up but no further info. When the girl came to pick up we asked about payment, she said they'd call us. We assumed credit card is OK. 4 hrs later they said cash or check only but we don't use checks and didn't have cash on hand - we’ve just moved here and don’t have a car yet (hence our calling for p/u and deliv.) We called back right away to say that we’d use our online account to send a check - their answer: no cash, no dog. We called back, were hung up on over and over again. The girl who picked up the dog denied that we'd asked about payment but kept saying that we should’ve asked about policies. Then they called the police saying that we were 'stealing their services'!! Absolutely the WORST experience I've EVER had with any service oriented company EVER. We had to send a neighbor to pick up the dog. Be warned, Pet Palace is very unprofessional and dishonest.
