Petro Oil

If there were 0 stars I would have chose that option. My family has been a loyal customer or Petro oil in Poughkeepsie, NY since 2009. We paid our bills on time, and followed the contracts and agreements perfectly. We informed Petro approximately 2 weeks ahead of time that at the end of our service agreements that we will not be needing their services any longer since we will be moving out of state. Then they bill us $698.40 for early termination fees and refusal of delivery. This is absolutely NOT the case. Basically what happened was they said they will take off the fees only if we accepted another oil delivery or gave them a letter from our lawyer or a copy of our closing from our realtor? In other words give us all your personal information, Pay us $698.40, or buy more oil from us or we will ruin your credit. These people are scam artists. Also the customer service representatives are incompetent and condescending. Their service is also substandard. Do not use this company.

Seriously, these guys have the BEST service around. I have used a few other full-service companies in the area (without naming names), and Petro has definitely given us the best service. They cleanings are much more thorough and when we called them last Saturday night when our heat went out, no joke, they were there in less than 40 minutes!!! Not sure how they did that, but WOW!!! Thanks Petro.

I like dealing with this company! It is nice to know that I can call tem at any time and they respond in a timely manner. You can buy oil from many companies, the service from Petro is priceless! Hats off to all the hard working people that make Petro such a great company.

I think I hit 4 stars by mistake, this company is DEFINITELY 5 stars. The entire process from go was great. I purchased a new home and their local salesperson was SO helpful. He was patient and answered all of my questions and really helped me through this process. Their delivery personnel are personable and so nice and their service technicians are VERY thorough and really know how to fix heating systems. I highly urge everyone to use these folks.
