Platinum Fitness Center

Even though my office moved to Sand Springs and I eventually was laid off, I still was unable to get out of my contract. Now two years later it has taken me over 3 weeks to get anyone to call me back to cancel my membership. Every time I went into the gym the "person"... that handles contract termination was conveniently unavailable. I finally got a call from them today after calling again and asking for the general manager. The woman was incredibly rude, so much so I thanked her and hung up. Too bad, I actually enjoyed the classes there although I've learned some of the same teachers will be at the new Sky Fitness center in the Promenade Mall. No contracts there. Read More

Platinum Fitness is an awesome facility! Clean, great staff and amenities at a great price. This person is the grumpy person that you meet that absolutely complains about everything whether true or not, and has nothing but bad things to say about everything. Ever met a person like that? THIS IS THE ONLY SITE WITH A BAD REVIEW. 4 OF THESE REVIEWS WERE WRITTEN BAY A FORMER EX EMPLOYEE WHO IS DISGRUNTLED...GO FIGURE! THE OTHER WAS A LADY THAT NO MATTER WHAT WE DID WE COULD NOT MAKE HER HAPPY. EVER MET A PERSON LIKE THAT...THE GLASS IS ALWAYS HALF FULL.

At first the place seemed great, then things started not going as well. They were rude, dishonest, and extremely pushy. I had asked tons of questions up front and at first everything was perfect, but after I signed the contract things started to change, The daycare cent...er video camera was supposed to be fixed it never was. The trainers were rude and pushy, and the ability to work with you on the contract was non-existent after they had promised certain changes could be made if need be. THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE! DO NOT JOIN PLATINUM FITNESS!! They take your money and RUN!! No matter how dissatisfied you are, it takes a death certificate to get your membership canceled. Did I mention it's a 2 YEAR membership? Yeah... On top of that, the child care facility is not very good.... Do I feel safe leaving my children there? Only when the video monitors are actually working. It's unclean, some of the staff can't speak English, and I was gotten out of my workout to come and take my daughter to the bathroom. That's right. They will apparently change a baby's diaper, but not take a toddler potty. Seriously?! The locker rooms are too hot. So even after you shower from working out, you just get sweaty again once you're dressed and out of the shower. The employees are snobs with zero friendliness.
