Poetry For The Soul was written to help real people with real life struggles by offering hope and inspiration concerning many of life's difficult situations. I've learned many lessons in life and want to share some of the Wisdom gleaned from the trials and challenges such as being diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy six months after our marriage vow. I now realize even though we've had to give up many things and have learned to live less than a thousand dollars a month on SSI we are very rich and blessed and have everything we need. Writing poetry is a passion, I spent much more than I've made in my mission to promote world peace and compassion through mutual respect for one another as well as helping others learn to respect themselves despite their short comings and failures. I see beauty all around me. Sometimes it’s clouded by cares of this world. Sometimes beauty is harder to see. Sometimes I must look much deeper. I must see beyond my eyes. Beauty is truly seen with the heart. Our eyes can tell us lies. Our eyes can also blind us to evil. So always trust your heart. It’s there the seedlings of beauty are planted. Water with goodness and growing will start. Have you heard the saying it takes one to know one? It’s kind of the same when searching for beauty. The more beauty I emit, The more beauty I receive. When done an injustice… It’s not easy to cope. By dwelling on it … It diminishes hope. It’s not easy to live with… Pain and regret. It’s much better by far… To forgive and forget.
