I spend 12 years as a Communications Officer for a small police department. I learned two things before my retirement. One justice is only fair for those who can afford it and Identity theft is only going to get worse. These two issues are something I can now help people deal with. We waive our rights every day, not out of choice but because we don't know we have them. We can't afford the counsel needed to know what they are. Affordable access to qualified attorneys can correct this. Most people also don't realize that identity theft is a legal issue. The common misconception is that it is someone accessing your bank accounts and credit cards but it is so much more than than that. Just like you only see the tip of the iceberg above water, the credit issues caused by identity theft are a small part of the problem. Fixing your credit is no guarantee that the "problem" is fixed. I want to help individuals and businesses address this issue in the best way possible through education and having a contingency plan.
I emphasize education. your can have all the best in security and protection but understanding is the key. Identity theft is a complex problem it takes more than "buying a product to know how to lower your risk and recognize the warning signs.
I love the small town atmosphere here is San Antonio. Although it is the 7th largest city in the U.S. The people are friendly and a nod and a hello from someone you pass on the sidewalk is still something you see here.
