Premiere Pets

This is the third animal that my wife and I have purchased from them, the first being a Mini-pin (gift for her mom), then our cat Alex whom is the best cat I've ever owned bar none, and now Tucker our newly acquired Happy Hippo (Ba-Shar). We actually went in the pet shop because we wanted to look at puppies for fun thinking perhaps around Christmas we'd buy our 2 children a small to medium breed dog as our two labs are approaching 10 years old and don't play much anymore. Well that's when we met Tucker and we made the mistake of playing with him at the suggestion of the guy that was working. Needless to say we really liked the dog and the next day brought in the kids and after their approval bought the dog. We had him checked out by the vet which was free with the purchase of the dog and was found to be in great health up to date on shots , he gave us a bunch of free food, and they warrantied him for 5 years.....I mean Wow we are thrilled with this place and can highly recommend it!

My Persian has been to many groomers in the Des Moines, West Des Moines area and Premiere did the best job. My little guy was not stressed when I picked him up and he looked and smelled beautiful. Most groomers won't even consider bathing a cat. Great job. Recommend them highly. DJ Salerno

I love that they only carry cats and puppies from local, reputable breeders (verses puppy and pet mills as is customary in pet retail chain stores). Keep up the good work!

The staff were all very knowledgeable and were able to answer all my questions. I was impressed with the quality of their merchandise as well.

I don't like that they don't offer higher end pet foods. In fact, it's quite disappointing.
