I am very happy with the service. I had an emergency and discovered providence electric online. Tom was really helpful and the price was reasonable. I used Providence Electric on several occasions. Their jobs are always done well. I was pleasantly surprised when a technician was running late and Tom was kind enough to call me and let me know that the tech will be 15 -20 min late. Everything about our dealings with Providence Electric has been excellent. The website is attractive, informative and easy to navigate. We received a very competitive estimate online and scheduled an appointment online - no phone tag or wasting time or money with an "estimate" appointment. The work (replacing a number of lighting fixtures both inside and outside, installing a chandelier and installing a ceiling fan) was done quickly, carefully and well. We are very pleased with Tom's work and price and will definitely use him again. We will also recommend him to anyone who is searching for an electrician.

If you are reading this, you are probably struggling with who to hire for your electrical project(s)...Sure, you can move on to read reviews on other sites - or you can save yourself a bunch of time and concern...just read the rest of my review and find out why you should look no further. Tom got right back to me and set up an appointment to visit my home and discuss the projects that I wanted a quote on - and if you are like me you have no idea how much electrical work costs...let me tell you, I was way off...Tom's prices are more than fair, so don't hesitate to tackle a bunch of jobs at once...for me, I needed to run some ethernet cable upstairs into my new office room...added a hardwired light and switch in my master closet and also had a problem with an interior light...he even installed a few exterior lights. The work was solid, and the crew vacuumed up each location before moving on to the next location...and they were done in less than one workday. Don't hesitate-make the call

I recomend Tom and Providence Electric above all other Charlotte electricans I have used. I have an older house (1938) with more than its share of quirks. Tom was able to navigate it "charm" quickly and within a budget that kept my overall project on track. Tom went above and beyond to make sure that the installation was done correctly, that old mistakes were corrected, and that he accomplished everything that we were looking for. He brought to the job not just and understanding of what I was asking for, but an knowledge of the easiest solution to my problem. I contacted him on a Tuesday and was enjoying my new lighting by Friday evening. One of the best contracting experiences we've had.

I'm a professional home inspection by trade and Tom impressed me with his service and professionalism. Tom's dedication to his profession is reflected in his work ethic. His charge for the work performed was very reasonable and half of the estimate a local francished electrical contractor provided. Tom will be the only electrical contractor on my referral list that I pass along to my home inspection clients. Tom and Providence Electric will be the only electrical contractor I will refer. I hired Providence Electric last winter to replace two light fixtures and wire + hang a brand new one in my bedroom. Ashley arrived exactly on time and he was very friendly and professional. He also gave me tips on how to perform maintenance on them going forward. Their prices were the most reasonable I found of all my quotes and I have already referred 4 people to them who were all very satisfied. If you need work done, definitely don't hesitate to contact them!
