River Inn Bar & Grill

What a wonderful dining experience we had at the River Inn on Sunday, Aug-8th. We had never eaten there before (but had heard about it throug friends), and despite how busy the place was, we had impecable food and service. I love how you have the place decorated; the atmosphere, food, and wonderful waitresses made our dinning experience one to remember. All my family and friends want to eat here. It is never an option as to where to go!! Food is great, staff is wonderful. It is with out a doubt the best place around.

While I'm certain that everything on the menu is fantastic, I wouldn't know because the blue cheese burger is so good that I have yet to move on to any other menu item. I love sitting in the cozy fireplace room, which is situated between the main dining area and the outdoor firepit/deck. My kids are a bit on the "enthusiastic" side, yet dining at River Inn is never a problem for us because the waitress always gives my children a large sheets of themed stickers that kids can put on a sheet of coordinating background paper. The stickers are so fun for my 6 year old that he usually forgets to eat and ends up taking his meal home, whereas my 10 year old loves to go to the firepit in back and chat with the people who are taking a smoking break. (The hardest part is gettting both of my boys to not "warn" the smokers that smoking could make them die, and make the inside of their lungs look "icky.") My only recommendation is that they offer the makings for s'mores!

Always the best steaks. Prime rib is excellent. The owners are the best. They have treated my family so great it is unbelievable. The wait is worth it every time.

Quaint place. However, something is wrong in the kitchen. Had to wait too long for food. Others in group were finished eating by the time the last orders were brought to the table. Wraps were good. Salad bar was good. The bacon in BLT Sandwich was nuked, hard, and tasteless, not crispy as ordered. Sandwich, not good. Waitresses are attentive and gracious. Will hold off eating there again until we are sure they have improved in food prep and time of service.

Excellent food; very nice owners. I'd recommend the pizza, burgers and wraps- that is all Ive tried so fara nd all were GREAT!

Great food always, they make you feel at home. We have been there for lunch and dinner many times and will continue in the future! Great place to go with family, friends or neighbors getting together for a night out.

This restaurant is the bomb for small town grill and ambience. The owners and staff are anxious to serve and the food across the board is excellent. The drink prices are especially reasonable for close to the metro. A great family place to eat and converse. Gets my highest recommendations!

Great place for a great hamburger and fries. Quaint, small, and worth the wait. Or call ahead for take out.
