Riverland Resort

We kept a nice camper there for 2 summers. Besides the proximity to a mobile home park and a dirty river with a dangerous current, the property still had potential.

The management seemed to be accommodating at first but it quickly became clear that there were "regulars". Which to define, means friend of the owners that have priority and can set their own rules.

If you camp with a large group and can ignore everyone else, this may be your place. Otherwise you can expect an experience likely to include one or all of the following: loud music into the night, inconsiderate neighbors and a lack of privacy that most campers camp for. When we met good people there, they just seemed to by "trying it out" and had there own concerns or negative experience.

There are plenty of pleasant, NE state parks that are patrolled by rangers that don't look like they are one trashy trailer away from becoming a glorified mobile home park.

In looking for a campground close to home i came upon the riverland in Blair ne.It seems to me it cost more to stay there then any of the other places.$25.00 a night? Thats alot compared to 18.00.I have talked to several people about this place and it seems to me that its been run down and everyone is rude.To make along story short ,based on what i have read and heard im not to fond of going here.If anyone can post anything good about this place please do so.We wanted to go someplace different but this doesnt seem to interesting to me at this time.Will c what happens.Happy Camping!!

NOT RECOMENDED, MANAGEMENT VERY RUDE, HERE IS THE STORY
DAUGHTER WAS RIDING HER BIKE AROUND CAMPGROUND WHEN A DOG CHASED HER DOWN AND SHE WIPED OUT AND HAD TO BE TAKEN TO THE ER, SHE WOULDN'T GIVE US HER INSURANCE INFO AND TO TOP IT OFF SHE SAID SHE DIDN'T WANT TO GET INVOLVED WITH THE OWNERS OF THE DOG BECAUSE THEY ARE REGULARS THERE. DID NOT CHECK BACK WITH US TO SEE HOW SHE WAS DOING OR NOTHING.
VERY VERY RUDE NOT RECOMENDED
