Rocky Hollow Lodge not only is a great place to stay - it's the BEST place to stay. Robert and Patty Richardson make everyone feel as if they were family. The housekeeping cabins are well maintained and clean as are the grounds. The almost nightly bon fires and conversations with the other vacationers under the stars is something that you'll never forget. If you are looking for a unique and comfortable place to spend your vacation, look no further than Rocky Hollow Lodge. All of the cabins are great (we are partial to #3). If you are coming to the Mountain Home/Bull Shoals area, you can't possibly do any better than Rocky Hollow Lodge.

Robert and Patricia are two very caring and heartfelt individuals. Their land holds a very special energy that renews the soul! They hold a very special place in my heart and I am sure after your visit they will have a special place in your heart as well.

Rocky Hollow Lodge & Cottages is one of the best places to spend your vacations at! Great service, Extra clean dwellings and we all know how important that is, Has a play area for kids and also a great swimming pool. Comes with lake access for fishing or just walking along the shore. The times that i stayed there i was very satisfied with cost and facilities, thanks for taking great pride in your business and the city of Bull Shoals.

I have been associated with businesses in Bull Shoals for the past 15 years and Rocky Hollow Lodge has always been one of the top resorts in the Bull Shoals Lake area. The owners want to see their guests have a wonderful vacation and they will help you any way they can for that goal to be attained. The cabins have all the things you will need. They have a pool and a place to dock your boat. It is a great place to gather with friends and family if you are planning a reunion. I highly recommend Rocky Hollow Lodge.

My family and I went to Rocky Hallow this September 2010. Patti and Robert had a sign on our cabin waiting for us. Walking in our cabin we had ALL the amenities needed for our stay in every room. Being this was our second trip I was excited to see Patti and Robert since it had been over a year. When Patti seen me it was like we had never left. She remembered EVERYTIHNG from our last visit and that was so welcoming. Robert was up playing horseshoes with staff and he also came to me and again just like it was yesterday our conversation picked up where it left off.
The next four days cannot be described with words. whether you want to wake up with Deer at your front porch, or world class fishing, (I caught a 7.5 lbs Walleye off the dock at Rocky Hallow on my fist cast) in the evening, world renown trout fishing less than 5 minutes away on the white river. One of the most beautiful Golf Courses I have ever seen. To ending the evening around the fire pit its all at Rocky Hallow Lodge!!!!!!

We had the best time we have ever had, we will go back for sure. We found out about this place from some friends and we are so glad we went!!! We were surprised at how clean everything was. My family enjoyed the pool mostly but my son and I enjoyed fishing at the dock. There is usually a fire going in the fire pit so in the evenings smores are great. There aren't even many bugs. There is a great golf course not too far away that is worth checking out just for the beauty. The owners, Robert and Patty are really nice people who do everything possible to make sure you have a good time there. We would recommend this resort to anyone who is looking for a relaxing family vacation that everyone will enjoy. The town of Bull Shoals has something for everyone. The best part of the vacation was just relaxing while cooking on the grill.

We had the great opportunity to stay at Rocky Hollow this year and had a great time. My husband and I were in the lodge with two other adults and two children. There was plenty of room and I am surprised at how big the kitchen was. My sister and I spent a lot of time in the pool while the men spent most of their time fishing. The playground is great, the children always had something to do. The lake is a short walk from the lodge and the kids enjoyed fishing and swimming off the dock. We rented a pontoon and it was awesome to be out on the lake, it was so beautiful. It was our first visit though my sister had stayed at Rocky Hollow before. She told me how much I would love it and I did!! The owners are really nice people and made sure that we felt welcome and that we had a great time. We look forward to returning soon by ourselves for a more romantic getaway.

We have been vacationing at Rocky Hollow Lodge and Cabins for 3 years now and have enjoyed every visit. The property and cabins are clean and well maintained. The cabins are equipped well, all you need is food and personal care products. There is a playground, pool, volleyball and horseshoe pits. The owners have always made us feel like this is our home away from home, putting forth every effort to make sure that we had the best vacation possible . We love it there so much that we have also began taking long week-end trips a few times a year. This is a family oriented resort and my children are always happy to go and hate to leave. I enjoy the beauitiful and peaceful scenary while watching the deer, hummingbirds, chipmunks, and others of natures creatures at play. The children usually bring their bikes. My children's favorite thing is roasting marshmallows in the evening while my favorite thing is floating in the pool.

We stayed in the lodge which was more than enough room for 4 adults and one little one. It was clean and very comfortable. The grounds are well maintained and beautiful. The owners Robert and Patricia are exceptional. They work so hard and strive to accommodate any request. The playground is fantastic for kids! It was too early for the pool but it looked well kept. The lake is gorgeous! The kitchen was well stocked with kitchen equipment for cooking. All in all it was a perfect place for our family getaway!

On a recent visit to Bull Shoals, my husband and I booked a weeks stay at Rocky Hollow Lodge. We visited in January, and thought we would be the only people at the lodge, but were quite surprised that the majority of cabins were occupied. The guests must have known what we discovered -- Rocky Hollow is a great place to stay! Our cabin was clean, comfortable and quaint. It was also equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We would love to return for a summer vacation, and will definitely stay Rock Hollow Lodge.

My wife and I have stayed in many resorts across the US and Canada and we are hard pressed to find a better place than Rocky Hollow Lodge. Robert and Patty are by far the hardest working people we have come across. They truly care about your comfort and will do anything to make your stay memorable. The cabins are comfortable, clean, and furnished with all one needs for a stay lasting a week-end or a month. The setting among towering trees is gorgeous. The grounds are well maintained. The pool is cool. One of the best parts of Rocky Hollow Lodge is the new friends you make at the outdoor fire pit. Sitting under the stars with a blazing fire can't be beat. We highly recommend Rocky Hollow Lodge as a place to stay.

We just spent our holiday in Bull Shoals at Rocky Hollow Lodge, and we were pleasantly surprised at how nice these cabins were. We hve stayed at a different resort each year, but we've decided that this will be our regular holiday destination. Our kids had a great time! Three boys are hard to keep entertained, but the owners provided lots of things to do including decorations and even a Christmas tree. We had planned to stay a few days but ended up staying the full week for a great price. For kids and pets, and over all cleanliness and great service, Rocky Hollow Lodge is the best resort we have found in the area. We highly recommend this resort to anyone!

After reading your blog about the Schimmel Family I had to write about our experience at Rocky Hollow Lodge. Our family has never been treated better by any lodge keepers in all the years we have gone to Bull Shoals Lake. Robert & Patty were consumate hosts. The cabins are spotless and fresh, the grounds are manicured and clean, and the service is genuine and professional, creating an atmosphere unique to this lodge. We'll never go anywhere else when visiting Bull Shoals. During our stay Robert & Patty worked tirelssly to make sure everything we needed was taken care of. We highly recommend Rocky Hollow Lodge to anyone!

I have stayed and worked with many resort owners in the area, Rocky Hollow has by far the coolest owners that know what they are doing and take very good care of you. Rocky Hollow is one of my favorite places to stay. Perhaps they could sell season passes? :-)

Rocky Hollow is a great place if you like a clean, quaint and cozy cabin on the lake. Robert & Patty are gracious and professional hosts, attending to every detail during our stay.

There's a community spirit because the hosts include everyone in group activities, such as crafts with beads and feathers, and Native American ceremonies, and fireside storytelling by Chief Dark Cloud of the Arkansas Cherokee.

The layout of the resort is just perfect for large family gatherings. The cabins are close enough to the water to walk, or a car can be driven to the lakeside. The resort has a swimming pool, and a great dock for sunning, boating or fishing, and the large acreage is nice for sports like footbal, baseball, badmitten or volleyball. We would definitely recommend this resort to anyone.
