SAT N Sound

I received several bogus charges on my Bank of America credit card starting on November 2nd including NewEgg, Buy, Uniquedesktopstyle, Kahphoto, and SAT N Sound. I have canceled the card but Bank of America is not aware of any fraud leaks from their computers.

Just received a slew of fraudulent charges on my Bank of America card from Kahpoto.com, Sat N Sound, and some other stores.

Unauthorized credit card charges were made from helps247.com followed by Sat N Sound and Kahphoto.com.
All under 2 dollars. Beaware! Notify your banks, some of them still have no clues!

These guys put a bogus charge on my card today. CC company will be sending me a new card (w/ new number).

I have recently been charged $1.29 from this account. It has been reported to my bank but no further action was taken.

I hope these scumbags will rot in jail when caught!

Sat N Sound in Atlanta has posted a separate web page at http://www.satnsound.com/Fraud%20Page.html in which they claim their corporate identity has been stolen, and warning anyone who gets a charge from them to block their credit card immediately. They claim to be working with the FBI to resolve the problem.

This may be true, as soon as the problem became apparent, this company should have contacted their merchant bank, blocked their own account, and applied for a new one. That would have stopped the problem immediately.

I can't tell much about this company because their whole site seems to be in Chinese, but it seems to have something to do with Chinese satellite TV. In any case they list a street address so it is probably a legit business. But as I said they should have taken steps to stop whoever has pirated their identity, instead of letting the fraud continue.

On 11/5 a charge was made to my card from Sat 'N Sound at 10am. Then 16 more bogus charges were added between 1pm and 3pm that same day, ranging from $1 to $163. This is obviously a "forward scout" fraud enabler, which tests stolen numbers then passes on the ones that clear, to other professional thieves.

I have a merchant account of my own, and if I ever pulled anything shady & got reported, they would cut me off in a minute. I don't see how these guys can keep their accreditation but somebody should go after them.

I don't know who these bastards are but I was charged $1.66 today and I have never even heard of these cocksuckers! Everybody wants something for nothing I had to cancel my card and now have to wait a week for the new one! This is the second time in 2 years this has happened to me the first time I had just returned home from a 2 year deployment to Iraq! Thanks for letting others know!

I thought it was just me! Wachovia blocked my card after they saw a $1.68 charge on my card from Sat N Sound. Apparently the word is getting out because they caught it right away. Anyone reading this check your statements for Sat N Sound!

I too have had a small amount fraudulent charge posted from this merchant. I have learned that often times a small charge is posted first to see if they can get through without raising questions. Then the user hits big things. I had to cancel my card.

Checking my bank account, saw a charge for $1.10 made against my check card by Sat 'N Sound. They are really making the rounds.

Just found a fraudulent charge to my credit card from this outfit. Also one from "Sat 'N Sound" in Atlanta. I was tipped off by Hewlet Packard; they had ordered a printer on my card.

They just charged my debit card for $1.47 and I had to cancel my card. Why can't people make a living doing an honest day's work anymore? I'm sick of being ripped off.

Called the company (ATL DTH aka Sat n Sound) with this number (770) 451-9777, dialed for the Accounting Dept..spoke to a Chinese lady who notified me that someone has used their company as a front to make charges and steal CCs. They deal in satalite equipment apparently. She said she has notified the FBI and local police about their breach. In the meantime, close your cards ASAP and file for a refund through your bank. Good luck and f*ck these low life thieves!!!

Same as the others. They charged $1.40 to my credit card. They're crooks. Don't know them or know how they got my credit card info. I will contact the police.

Bank of America will not allow dispute of charges because it is still "pending". I'm going to bank now & then police.

This is serious BS. I have also recieved a small charge on my card. My cards fraud department has opened up a case on these people to see what exactly is going on. They said a very large amount of their customers have been recieving small charges from Sat'n Sound. Supposedly, the company has a message stating that somebody has stolen customer information or something. Truth is, I have never heard of this company and dont know why they would have any of my info.

I was trying to figure out what i was charged for, i was going to disregard the transaction made, but Thanks to the reviews by people here, i got it straightened out with my bank. Saved me from future charges and possibly identity theft.
