Is this company fully insured? Do they have their own employees or do they subcontract out all their work? Are they members of the American Fence Association? Are they members of the BBB? We are......

Thank you for an excellent opportunity to educate you and other users of Merchant Circle on the difference between the modern Olympic sport of fencing and the construction activity of building fences. To answer Production FenceWorks Incorporated's questions, Salle Green is fully insured for what we do, carrying policies through the United States Fencing Association for our sport fencing classes and through a martial arts insurer for our historical swordplay and Chanbara, Tsue Kakuto Cane, and Shim Soo Gum Do programs. As a sole proprietorship, Maitre d'Armes Walter Green teaches all classes assisted by other professionally certified coaches or coaches in training - it is very difficult for a fencing school to subcontract out teaching how to use a sword. We are not members of the American Fence Association because that organization presumably is a trade body for people who build fences, not for the sport of fencing. We are a member school of the United States Fencing Association, the national governing body for the sport of fencing, the Classical Academy of Arms, the World Shim Soo Gum Do Federation, and the United States Chanbara Association. In addition we are a Guild Academy of the United States Fencing Coaches Association. All of these organizations deal with the sport of using a sword, something very different from what the folks at Production Fence Works do. Oh, and a check of our website shows the online logo of the Better Business Bureau linked to our BBB profile. If you are interested in fencing or our martial arts sword programs, please visit our website to learn more about the sport and about a professionally run fencing school.
