Serranos Coffee Company

I love this local coffe shop. This is the second location of Serranos, the original location in Monument, CO is about 10 miles north of here. They offer three coffees that change every day and a wonderful assortment of pastries, scones, etc. I am a cinnamon roll connoisseur and they have a very buttery, flaky offering that is wonderful. Mocha java is my favorite coffee at Serranos. They also have the usual foo-foo drinks, lattes, mochas, etc. The surprise here is their wonderful assortment of cups, plates, teas, gift baskets. I have run down there on several occasions to grab a birthday gift and they do it up nice in a bag with tissue paper. The people are always very friendly (good management!) and they have a gas fireplace to sit by on the colder mornings. Nice place to go relax.

I first sampled Serrano's coffee at KRCC's Blues Under The Bridge concert this summer. I had a fantastic iced latte---stupendous! --MED
