Shady Oak Veterinary Clinic

We've been bringing our dogs to Dr. Barb for over 20 years. We first met Dr. Barb when she worked at the Blue Cross Animal Hospital in Minneapolis. When she left there to set up her own practice at Shady Oak Vet Clinic there was absolutely no question that we would follow her. The care and devotion to both pets and owners by Barb and staff is outstanding!

I have been going to this Vet and Clinic since the Vet, Dr. Barb took over. She was a Vet at Blue Cross Animal Clinic in Mpls. and I followed her over to this Vet Clinic because she has such a compassionate care for animals. My first dog I ever had as a teenage was cared for by Dr. Barb and now every dog since has been a patient and has gotten fabulous care not only by Dr. Barb but by her staff.

Dr. Barb and Dr. Sharon, together with their dedicated & caring staff, have created an exceptional Veterinary practice. We have both our young dog and our kitty cared for by these knowledgable, compassionate, professional vets. With both animals, we had serious heatlh issues that were dificult to diagnose and required a great deal of attention and often times expensive tests & treatment. Not only were Barb and Sharon both tireless in their committment to our cases, but they were sensitive to our limited finanical resources. In addition to these two fine veterinarians, the staff is tremendous. Every time we called or came in, they knew who we were and what was going on with our animals; they treated both our pets and us with kindness & comapssion. I have had some wonderful vets over the years, but none compare to the experience we've had at Shady Oak.

We have been going to Dr. Barb for 20 years and three generations of Daschies. She is an exceptional vet - thorough, compassionate, warm and brilliant. She doesn't over-treat or over-medicate. She takes her time with each patient and books accordingly so you don't have long waits. The staff is also knowledgable and helpful. Everyone we've encountered is exceptional. We can't say enough about how wonderful Dr. Barb is!

I have been going to Shady Oak Vet Clinic for 10 years. Their competency and compassion is top-notch! Whenever possible, I refer people to this clinic.
