The best Mandarin Chinese restaurant south of Pell St. in NY. Dishes you don't expect - prepared excellenty and priced reasonably. Excellent service. If you like Mandarin cooking - you can't miss with Shanghai Gardens. By Richard Aronson on December 27, 2010 at 08:44 AM
This is the BEST Chinese Restaurant. I am a vegetarian and the owners went out of their way to make my experience great. Not only was service fast and friendly, but the chef actually cooked a special meal for me which was out of this world. By Diane Sarro on June 11, 2007 at 06:09 AM
Shanghai Garden not only has wonderful food, but a wonderful staff that makes you feel right at home when you are there! By Lisa Clark on June 03, 2007 at 09:00 AM
We have been going there for years, and have never been disappointed. The food is excellent and service as well.
We usually eat there momthly and have taken our guests and visitors there for a enjoyable night out.
Tthe manager always greets us and stops by out table to inquire if all is well and anything is wrong.
We appreciate the concern about his customers being happy.
It is a friendly place to eat.
Sincerely

Shanghai Garden is a great place to have really great authentic chinese food. My friends got me to drive up from Boca to Boynton Beach and to my amazement it was wonderful food, great service and they have a full bar, so they have some great exotic drinks. The owner Andy asked us what we all liked and he brought out some great food, I probably won't be going to any other chinese resturants. By Phuoi on May 31, 2007 at 12:53 PM
We have this thing called Girlz Nite Out. A tradition 10 of us girlfriends will do hopefully forever. We go to Shanghai Garden most of the time. The food is absolutely amazing. The atmosphere wonderful, all of the staff delightful. Just seeing the smiling face of Andy and having the service that most movie stars receive is well worth the trip for me coming from the Port Saint Lucie area. highly, highl highly recommended. My husband & I always went to the big chinese buffets for lunch. A friend introduced us to this non-buffet restaurant. and it is wonderful- everything is made fresh & since I am picky about msg, salt & fishy tasting foods, they catered to whatever I wanted. It was wonderful... no more buffets with old dried up &/or soggy slop. We go there once a week rain or shine. We just love it. They remember us & welcome us everytime. Thank you. If you are looking for authentic Chinese food, Shanghai Garden will not dissapoint you. I am of Asian descent and Andy's cooking is like my moms! You know if Asians eat there, it must be good! I have not had one thing on the menu that was anything but delicious. The owners and staff are always pleasant and full of suggestions. By Hye on May 31, 2007 at 09:57 AM
