Shiffletts Trash Service

DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS!!! These people are over priced, and dealing with them is very difficult. I had some double billing issues, and when I called in, all I got was denial. After I went down to the office, and showed them, they were still very rude, and tried to say we called in and were rebelled, which makes no sense. We were not just rebelled, they billed us double (2 services), plus late fees, for which we were never late, just replying to the first bill in the mail. Also, dealing with the 2 woman in the office is like walking on coals. Do yourself a favor, and use someone else, like I, and a few friends who have businesses in fredericksburg, have done. I accidentally put 5 stars instead of 1, like I wanted, with the review, and hopefully this can go in its place. Basically, since Shiffletts bought J&E, this service has been not as good. But the real problem lies in the office. I have been double billed, calling in about it I have been treated rudely, they are unorganized, they have hiked up the prices without telling anyone about it, and they just don't seem to be operating with any type of ethics. I am keeping my review anonymous because I am scared of any type of bad behavior or business charges in retaliation from them. They are known to be spiteful, and if you are looking for a service, go to WM waste management or another place, PLEASE, for your own peace of mind, financial savings, and for a better job. DONT USE SHIFFLETTS, YOU WILL NOT BE SATISFIED, THAT IS THE BOTTOM LINE. just ask around, you will hear this from a lot of people!!!

I have had the worst experience dealing with this business, since they transferred from J&E, to Shiffletts. They are rude, unprofessional, and spiteful. A word of advice for those looking for trash services: Keep looking, you will find a comparable price and someone who will treat you professionally for sure. For Shiffletts: Do the right thing, be professional, take responsibility, be honest, do your work the way you promised, fulfill obligations, and do not try and cheat and over charge people, you will only come out with major losses and run your business into the ground. For your own sake, management, go top to bottom, and eliminate those in your business who are mistreating and cheating. Hopefully it is not the owner down doing this, and you can turn your business around before you loose it.

In my personal dealings with Shiffletts, since they have taken over for J & E, I have had nothing but problems. And when I try to straiten things out, it is twice as hard with dealing with the lady running the office, who is very rude and unhelpful. Do yourself a favor and goto waste management or someone else. save yourself money, stress and complaints about their inept work ethics.

The actual trash collection is just fine. However, they bill you with a postcard that is easy to overlook in the rest of the mail, and then start adding on late fees. I have been asking them for years to go to online payment or deduction from a bank account, but I think they actually rely on those late fees to keep their business going.

I used this company for trash service. My payment was going to be late so I contacted the company directly to let them know. They chose to come to my home empty the contents of the can all over my driveway to take their can. All it would have taken was them expressing an interest in coming to get their can to not make themselves dicks! I am seeking a suit in court for fee's after locating 6 other people with the same experience. Something tells me it won't be so "tolerated" in court to vandilize someones home!
