Silverlake Nail Spa

Have been going there since I moved to Pearland about 3 years and have had good service. They have sanitized spas. They give you the options to use your own box. The owner is hard on her techs and can come off as rude but I just believe its cultural thing. Her techs are good at what they do though!

Differin-As with other retinoids, use of "waxing" as a depilatory method should be avoided on skin treated with adapalene. Wax epilation should not be performed on treated skin due to the potential for skin erosions.

The new owner is a nightmare!!! I've encountered her yelling at customers more than once. Needless to say it was shocking. She is very unprofessional and rude, therefore I would NOT recommend this place at all. Also, I notice that they don't sanitize the pedicure tubs after every customer. Gross! Instead, do what I did and take your hard-earned money next door.

I use to love going to this nail spa. The original owners were amazing and so was the service. Now with the owners they have now, the service is rushed, not as friendly and when I walk in and ask for a service they always try to get me to get a second one also. I stopped getting my eyebrows waxed there, because the person that did them didn't pay attention to what she was doing.

This place was the best place around when it first opened. I believe it's changed hands though so it's not as great as it once was. They seem more rushed with the new owners and don't take their time with your pedicure or eyebrow wax as they once did. I have noticed that most of the people that were there when they first opened left soon after the new owners took over. The people are friendly and the place is always clean. Make sure you have cash on hand for the tip because they HATE (and sometimes refuse) to put it on your debit/credit card.
