I had just purchased a used car private party. I did not know I needed a smog until I went to the DMV. When I came into Smog Dog the guy at the counter told me that it was the sellers job to have the vehicle smoged before selling it, another thing I did not know. He was not very busy so when I was checking out he printed off the DMV website that spelled out what he had told me, he also went and printed the law that stated it also. I was able to use this information when I contacted the seller, and he said he had never heard of that either. He gadly reimbursed me for the costs of my smog. The smog guy went above and beyond to help me out at no extra cost, we even left my daughters cell phone behind, and he was honest enough to hold it for safe keeping.

Waiting room is cool, quiet and comfortable. I have been brining my cars here for years, and the staff is always nice. I recomend Smog Dog to anyone who requires their service. I have been sent here my numerous other shops in the area, which makes me feel good too. Every customer is treated with individual service, the technician Dan took the time to explain the tests and answer questions I had about buying a car in another state, and also what goes on during an inspection. I was the only person there in the morning, and I was in and out within 30 minutes or so.
